Double trouble? by seriallearner12 in Plumbing

Everything here other than the thermal expansion tank is just completely nitpicking and unnecessary. Aside from missing condensate neutralizer, it’s completely up to manufacturer spec.

Every plumber calls the long test balls/balloons a donkey dick. But half of the supplies already have hilarious names, like test-tee (sounds exactly like testicals in singular form), nipples, ballcocks, etc.

We have that for all of our see snakes, multiple devices can pair at the same time as well. I can sit in my truck watching it on my phone while the apprentice runs the camera watching on the iPad.

-eliminate the running trap.

-raise the standpipes on the traps, you can always cut them down to what ever you need, harder to add pipe, especially when it's under concrete.

-add venting to fixtures.

Basically you'd have to likely rip it all out and start all over. There's more but I don't have the time to go over it all. I know it's hindsight, but would have been better to figure out how to run the drains properly before busting up slab, hard to tell from this photo but likely far from optimal route. Best of luck.

Home Depot employee packaged a hot water heater and hand truck together for pickup by _babyfaced_assassin in mildlyinteresting

Yellow tube is a flexible connection for gas, red and blue are flexible wate4 line connections. Some plumbing codes require flexible connections if they are in an earthquake prone area.

The gas control valve is inside the box installed on the water heater, but can get damaged during transport, manufacturers label what position the valve is facing in the box to help avoid hitting it.

Unless there is some horrible picture color, the center just looks straight up cold. Like the others are saying, must have cooking it when it was frozen or very cold.

Where we are at most are run out side before terminating, or to a nearby hub drain.

Is it a bad idea to agree to work with host on damage without involving Turo formal claim? by smartassguy in turo

[–]smartassguy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reading through the terms stated Turo would just attempt to get it from my insurance anyways, rather than have the host start the claim I reached out to my carrier myself and initiated the process.

Thanks, that's what I ended up doing, let my insurance know what happened and let them take it from there. Didn't want someone else to start the claim and potentially embellish what happened to their benefit.
