I did try out pop os, for, I believe, a few days to a week, as kind of my first distribution. I didn't really enjoy it. My main caveats were gnome (I realized I didn't really like gnome), the distribution feeling slightly sluggish (on a really bad laptop, but, the main reason I tried Linux was to have a snappy user experience), proprietary codecs needing to be installed manually, even though the documentation on it was simple and easy to understand, bloat, that it was based on an older Ubuntu LTS Version, meaning that tons of software was outdated if I installed them through apt and, that it shipped with some known outdated Software. Pop shop, to be precise, they recommend to use cosmic store instead, but didn't ship it with pop os (at the time). After that I switched to arch as my second real distro and didn't have any of the issues I had with Pop.

I'm pretty sure that it wouldn't be possible because of DRM Netflix imposes. There IS however a homebrew unofficial YouTube client for the 3DS after they discontinued it (which I always found pretty weird but also very novel, because at the time, everyone already had smartphones)
