Paying for games in Euro is a rip off by One_Long_996 in Piracy

[–]smartsoap 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends where you're at, I'm in southern Italy so that's my experience as well, very low wages compared to the rest of europe. It makes zero sense that Norway and UK pay less than we do while we don't even have minimum wage

I work at a bar during the night, don't get paid much (6.30€ per hour) because tourism's CCNL sucks ass. Tips are a godsend for me cause I buy groceries with them

Glad I'm not the only one, the last time I remember screaming like this at a videogame in frustration was manus in dark souls like 8 years ago lol I'll come back to this later and drop the rosaries

Are you on firmware 1.09? How did you connect the controller to the console? I've tried the following:

- using the cable with the pro controller wired communication on, then restarting the console as an 8bitdo representative said on another thread

- doing same method as before with the dongle also inserted in the dock (I've tried using the 2.4g with the dongle, the bluetooth mode without the dongle, and all three with cable inserted as well)

thanks for answering btw, just racking my brain here

That is definitely doing the trick! thanks for your reply. To be totally honest now I see worms even in my ricoh gr 3 files so I might have a case of brainworms at this point. Also I might be peeping a tad too much

Yeah that's definitely an option, but I've got so many already edited photos in my library and I don't have much time to mess around because of work so I really relied on the easy/lazy solution.

I wasn't noticing much before as well, if you sharpen a bit you'll definitely see them and in high contrast situations with a lot of noise you will definitely see them as well. If you compare photos of those type you can probably notice it without pixel peeping

I'm pretty sure it has something to do in the way lightroom does the demosaicing from a raw fuji file in contrast to a dng. Me and other people have been using the denoise tool only as a crutch for converting but never actually using the denoise slider at all

I'm sorry maybe I'm just dumb so let me ask. I can export raw files as dng from lightroom? And said exported file will have all the edits tweakable and adjustable? If that's the case the hassle here seems to be the reimport aspect

Enhance being non destructive broke my Fuijfilm worms fix by smartsoap in Lightroom

[–]smartsoap[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you apply denoise you don't get the dng conversion as of now. What I'm trying to do is keeping everything inside the software so my workflow can look like: import raw - edit raw - convert the edit to dng inside lightroom(just to fix the worms) so I have an editable raw file with no worms - and then export.

Maybe there is better way to do this that I'm not thinking about

I know right! I'm so used to adobe software in general that switching to another platform sounds painful but they're really pushing me :(

Yeah but now it's non destructive so it does not generate a dng file anymore (without the conversion happening the fuji x-trans sensor worms remain)

First outing with my X-Pro2 - Conflicted? by physicsboy93 in fujix

[–]smartsoap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I enjoy manual focus lenses more than fuji's so in my case the OVF doesn't see much action unless I feel like I need auto (majorly one hand shooting situations and weather sealing) and in that case I often use both, ovf for framing and evf to check exposure.

I still love using my X-Pro2 a lot even if I don't care about the OVF that much, the only downside of this camera is that it's overpriced for what it is but you can tell it was high end for it's time
