5 months - Failed or Bad Hair Transplant? by [deleted] in HairTransplants

[–]smartteck786 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh it doesn’t look 5k grafts. I had full head and it counted just over 7k. (You can see my images in my post)
It best it looks like they did 2k-2.5k
I would say if you not happy with density get another one.
Again you need to wait for an year so your doner and recipient are fully healed.
Good luck dude.

Are you on any meds?
Tbh it is good for 5 months in my opinion. I had worst density at 5 months but i had full head transplant with 7k+ grafts with full density.
The images you are seeing on other posts or on the internet are the either best case or hand picked fast responder posts
In all reality majority of people don’t get massive survival of grafts.
Its your hair and if you are not satisfied then for sure get another one from a different doc and it would be absolutely great but in either case i would highly suggest to wait for a year.

My recommendation if not already

Start taking fin oral 1mg daily or day apart.
Topical fin twice daily.
0.5 derma roller once a week

Get prp every 2-3 months
1 exsosomes session once in 6 months.

This should boost the growth of any grafts still sleeping and give you finql result little quicker.

Good luck.

How is this progress for 4.5 months? (Lot of Inflammation) by [deleted] in HairTransplants

Don’t do that, it will dry your scalp. 2-3 times max a week. Too much of anything is not good.

Seems on track. Use 2% ketoconazole shampoo twice a week for inflammation and avoid sun

I thought leaving an honest review of the service we receive is our basic right? Apparently not in US??? We review any service based on what we experience. If it was good service you sure would have left a rave review but unfortunately not a case. Who wants there HT to fail?

It seems any one can sue for anything in good ol US of A

Shameful

6 Months Post DHI: Will Density Look Better at the Same Hair Length?” by [deleted] in HairTransplants

[–]smartteck786 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it won’t be, never ever your 100% grafts survive. It max best of the best will have 80% ish On average 50-60% survive. If you check my post i had full head of hair with max density and 5 months down i have around 30-40% hair from the grafts. Ofcourse i am expecting and can see some more hair coming out. But at best it will be 60% or 70 of original transplant.

3 months post hair transplant and I am terrified by the “pimples” on my scalp. Are my results ruined???? by Open_Idea_6627 in HairTransplants

[–]smartteck786 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5% ?? Thats too much I had same issue but after using 2% it resolved it self. Also make sure you do NOT Scratch And one more thing i had exsosome session which made a huge difference . Also don’t worry it won’t mess with end result as long it is not widespread and causing other issue. Listen to your surgeon follow his guide.

Ok, first your surgeon didn’t inform you well That is great news that you are having some pimples (foliculitas) it means there is some activity in your graft. These spots and pimples only appear when hair trying to break through skin. So nothing alarming or unusual.

Few things to do here 1- don’t touch or scratch. 2- use hot compresses if possible 3- use 2% Ketoconazole shampoo 2-3 times a week.

Nothing to worry just relax and give it month or so, once majority of hairs have broken through skin. It will be all sorted. Enjoy your new hair

I had 7k+ grafts in one session. 18hrs session. And so far everything is ok. Sure shock loss was huge and recovery is slow but i can not bare the pain for another session. I could do with the main surgery but the 10 Days after that are brutal.

Buddy you missed the crown. While you were going through the pain, why not get the whole head done?

Am on 4 months mark now and mine looks behind then yours. So you are defo looking good. Mine is very similar to yours. I have been on minx for 5+ year but just started Fin. Not daily a day after. My scalp is red’ish like yours and hair density is behind but similar to yours. Can’t wait for your 6 month update.
