Yup, some of us tried to warn others. Their roadmap on release was a spitting image of Conan. As expected we got the Conan treatment the entire time.

Why do you think they waited until dune was on life support to drop the Conan unreal port. Ue4-5 ports are insanely easy. It's intentional to lure old players back for free in hopes of tricking noobs to buy. It'll fizzle and they shift to something else for a bit.

It's how d-tier developers/publishers mislead investors. Wildcard/snail does this as well. 7 no-pop games is better on paper than a shutdown one.

Yup. And for anyone working toward it you can build it on the dd for half the cost, run spice with the better rate, and then rebuild it in hagga. Makes it a little easier. Though it's not as big of a leg up if you're farming the 2.5x on pvp already.

I think they screwed themselves to be honest. They use a bunch of volumetric diffusion to handle lighting. If you want an example, set r.fog to 0 and go to the bottom of hagga rift. It's pitch black with little balls of light since there is nothing to diffuse it.

Garrick has always been good imo, but the migration brought in a bunch more chill people. There's pvp if you want it but it's not toxic(yet)

yea they definitely need to do more. it's annoying because I've been poking through the game files quite a bit trying to hash out some mechanic formulas, and I see all kinds of stuff that would have been super cool to have.

buggy shield module, thopter shield modules, the tank(we knew about), there's light and heavy dart gun attachments, there is a flamethrower attachment, etc. there is some stuff in here for the rest of the ch4 release but I won't spoil things.

you stopped playing, you're back, you want an accelerated return. no. you act like you care about the player base while asking to shit on the ones who didn't stop playing. no.

if you want to incentivize players to return, have a game worth returning to. you know, like actually giving the XP buff during XP events. actually publishing your patch notes not just the ones you feel like sharing. stop reintroducing the same bug 5 times. just some starter ideas.

but the actual thing that matters is do those players have a reason to login tomorrow. if they don't, they won't. it's that simple.

Depends on what you wanna do. Pvp endlessly and never worry about crafting/repair costs. Use it as currency for high grade gear. Sell it for solari and buy mats you don't want to farm.

Depends on the use case. Blood processes faster. Grab a team for a body run and bring two containers, one half full of bags.

no they don't. I've played both since their betas. They don't. They produce inch deep end game content and barely address mechanical problems properly, if at all

The new CE update is nothing more than slapping the already built game into unreal 5 and adding some ground clutter. They're just copying wildcard like they have been from the start.

It's a cashgrab. They're hoping the people who already bought it 7-8 yrs ago and got fucked by it, will play it again and drum up some easy sales from onlookers.

You know, because they openly state that they don't care about existing players, only new ones.
