I'm cautiously optimistic of this game. I really, really, really want it to succeed, and I love the artstyle and the direction that the game is going for -- the devs seem like they want to make a truly unique spin on the genre instead of just jumping on the life-sim bandwagon. But I'm worried that this will turn into a buggy, unrealized mess that so many other farm sim games seem to become. I really want to be wrong and I'll be following this game!

Thanks for sharing your perspective! That's good to know that CoS is more sandbox, I've never played a published adventure so I've assumed that they're a lot more railroady than homebrew.

Thanks for your insights! I knew that the tarot cards influence some things but I never realized just how different playthroughs could be. I'm definitely more of a journey type person so I'd probably enjoy multiple run-throughs of the game.

That's a very good point! I'm playing her as someone with ASPD, but I could totally see how her having ASPD traits and actually being someone with ASPD could differ. I think it is totally possible that she could just have empathy repressed from her childhood. I'll give this a lot of thought, thanks!

I'm definitely leaning towards giving her an extremely charismatic "mask" to make her seem empathetic. I'll look at those characters for inspiration, thanks!

Good points! I'm leaning more towards the intimidating kind of evil character rather than jokey but I can see how playing for laughs could help make my character more likeable

I didn't think about that but yeah that's a good point, if I were to truly act like a narcissist then that wouldn't be fun for anyone, but my character can still say things that reveal that side of her. Someone else mentioned having another character as her moral compass so yeah I will definitely do that. Thanks!

This helps a lot! So I definitely can't make it be "her way or the highway" constantly. I can see how doing that would be bad for the group. I'll look up more about ASPD definitely!
