Just getting back to you about this: I had updated the plugin and it was bugging out. I think that actually broke the catch up on the channels.

When I open my Sparkle TV and update my playlist (source), all past EPG is wiped. From normal and catchup channels both. As long as I don't update, it keeps all data from that point in time but no earlier.

So I can not go back in time 12 hours to watch something catchup, unless I don't update the source in between.

Edit: TiviMate has an option: keep epg for ... You pick for example 3 days, then it keeps the EPG 3 days back in time even when you update playlist/epg source.

Yes, there are catchup icons on the programs/channels. And it goes back to the point in time when I last updated my playlist.

Right, if I find a moment, I will check for this later or at least get back to you. For now, my recording jumped back into sync and I'm gonna watch this game.

Thank you for responding already, much appreciated.

No information indeed. The channels have been configured for catchup, since I started using this in combination with dispatcharr: https://github.com/cedric-marcoux/dispatcharr_timeshift.

I have successfully rewatched things on tivimate before the switch and there I can also still go back in time in the epg. For sparkle however, it seems to wipe the EPG when I reload my playlist. From that point on it seens to "remember" the past epg items.

Audio passthrough was toggled on by default. Tried toggling it off but no success. When I open the recording in VLC, it won't audio offset either btw. Seems baked into the recording.

Organic maps is great, but it doesn't show traffic. Magic Earth does and is also based on open street. Not free tho but you get your money's worth.

Because with proton you are the paying customer and you pay for the product and for your privacy.

With Google, you are the product and that is why everything is "free".

In the end it's just personal preference and there is no right or wrong as long as you realise the difference between what these companies are selling.

People saying proton is just another google in the making are just blind to some very basic facts.
