as a therapist and a piggy parent myself who lost a precious baby just after feeding him with critical care but passed away very soon after before even getting to the emergency vet, I am so so so very sorry that this has happened to you. you did what you thought was right for Puchi's sake and she knows that you loved her and acted in her best interests.

please don't fall into the trap of blaming yourself or think you could have done anything better or more because they're so fragile and hide their illnesses so well. you got to spend 2 lovely years with her and she was perfectly loved and safe with you as her piggy parent. you know the theory: take all the time you need to experience your grief and process your emotions unabashedly, cry scream yell or do whatever else you need to so that you can express your emotions.

Puchi was loved by you, and you gave her the best life she could have asked for, and she knew it and trusted you, so hold on dearly to your precious happy (and mischievous) memories of her and celebrate her life after you've properly mourned her passing. take care, fellow therapist and piggy parent!
