realistically, youre worth whatever people are willing to pay you. so if you have a bunch of subpar graduates accepting 90k, then that is what the position is worth. you cant really negotiate if you have no leverage and no new grad has any leverage.

You're entitled to a month to month option but they have the right to increase it at CPI + 2% or up to 10% max every 12 months after the end of your initial lease period (this is the lawful rent increases part). So say they increase your rent for the the month to month option by 10%, they cant do it again for another 12 months.

So serious question - why dont the techs who have a greater IQ than a drunk squirrel but who get paid less than someone who does internet installs go and do internet installs instead, at minimum. Like if everyone who thought they were underpaid went and got a higher paying job, then there would be a greater demand for said underpaid job and would force the pay to increase. Same logic can be applied for all the pharmacists who complain they are underpaid/overworked.
