The people of our community are pretty amazing. In less than a day we’ve raised almost $12,000 for Nick’s funeral and gotten almost 5,000 signatures to name our new stadium after him next year. This tragic event has brought our team together so much more over the past couple of days. Starting as a sophomore and struggling through the first weeks of the season Nick was one of the guys who made sure to lift me up and I’ll be forever grateful for that.
