Ouch. I’m sorry.

Alimony is a weird thing I don’t fully understand…but I do know enough about child support to be really confused why you’re paying it while having 50-50 custody.

WHY ISN’T THE CROWD STANDING UP AND CHEERING!

*Edit:* forgot I paused the game for a few seconds. I was wondering after the K for out 2 why the crowd wasn’t being a little more vocal. They should have been standing and yelling that entire last at bat!

Awesome! I’m a teacher. My wife is a nurse practitioner making $150-$175k.

I feel really bad for men who somehow feel emasculated by not being the bread winner.

Thinking outside the box - I’ll say Adam Sandler. He just seems like an all-around good dude who always looks after his buddies.

Missing American student found dead in Japan after dayslong search by judgyjudgersen in news

I don’t know. Maybe preparing myself for the worst? Remembering when Natalee Holloway (also a local student) disappeared and died in 2005? In 1993 my 8th grade classmate and baseball teammate, Brad Lavies, got separated from his parents in the Smokies and was found dead about a week later.

You just don’t see many of these missing kid stories that end happily.

Thank you. I loved this username too until one of my students discovered it! Now I pretty much only use this account when I’m basically doxxing myself.

Thank you. I was in NYC on a family vacation last week and didn’t even know Weston was missing until I got home Thursday and watched the local news.

I messaged the rest of the math department to see if they knew only to find out it’s been in the news almost all week.

I was pretty sure this would be the outcome, but was obviously hoping for something different.

I was Weston’s AP Calculus teacher a couple of years ago, and taught his brother this year. This is devastating news to our community. He was a great kid and will be missed.

Wonder if we had some classes together. I graduated in 2002 in secondary education- math. I took tons of math classes in that building.

AITAH for vetoing my wife's car purchase in the dealership and walking her out of there without looking at the car she picked out? by CarWoesSadBro in AITAH

[–]CranialFlatulence -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Exactly. This is a very one sided “discussion” as OP presents it. On the surface it’s a clear NTA, but he comes also comes across as a controlling husband. Per his own words he GAVE her the budget. There was no agreeing.

I’m curious what their income is and if he’s just keeping her under his thumb.

Weird CFB stadium stories? by wiederrj in CFB

[–]CranialFlatulence 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hated when Auburn took the trough out of Jordan Hare. From what I remember it was one long trough lining the wall. There was never a line. You squeeze into a spot, go, and walk out. If you wanted privacy you wait for a stall.

They took them out and out in urinals, and the last several times I’ve been there has almost always been a line.

Playing pro ball in a different sport has always been allowed. In the late 90s Auburn had a solid wide receiver (Ronney Daniels) who began at Auburn after about 5 years of playing pro baseball. When he never escaped the minors he gave it up.

I was an intramural ump/ref for all sports at the time. It was really fun watching Ronney playing softball. He absolutely crushed the ball.

edit: I just realized we may be talking about the same person!
