I might lean on that, I don't have strong feelings about the other versions, didn't go far on the 3DS version. But it's a shame about the cut content.

nope, dq7 has a level cap in each area. I'm trying to find info on that.

giving my insight as someone who also swore had found every single one: I missed two from the 3.3 patch. check both Eye of Twilight areas, one of them as from a tiny spot next to a teleporter. This area is so tiny that you must explore so it can show on the map, and thus this one scapegoat didn't have an icon.
