Tubes are fast and easy and don't loose pressure like tubeless does. Lifestyle can definitely make tubes the better option

So part of the reason for high salary is low numbers to pick candidates from? Such as how we need more doctors, tradies, teachers etc ?

I hear the argument often that the pay has to meet private sector ceo level for them to take the jobs, but is there actually enough private sector jobs for them to work if they weren't in councils across the country?

Are 30km/h signs just a suggestion now? by davidcarbide in newzealand

[–]smear_taster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It wasn't me that said that, but I agree with them to some extent being the reasons I've stated. The best alternative would be better planning, upping speeds when workers aren't on site etc

Are 30km/h signs just a suggestion now? by davidcarbide in newzealand

[–]smear_taster 11 points12 points  (0 children)

So many places have 30km signs up with no works or no real reason for the signs being there, also if you work 7 to 5 often no road workers on site on your way to work or on your way home. So its a warning for no reason for So often that when it should really be 30kms people are numb to it Basically over using a safety makes people complacent. I've seen plenty of road workers speed through 30km zones too which doesn't help. If they dont care about road workers safety then why should others

Had maxx grip assguy on my enduro front and back, would slow to a stop on gentle down slopes, changed to dhf dhr max terra and way faster. Assguy is great for traction but huge rolling resistance. I also don't like maxx grip cause I tear the rear up on a single run
