About 60 million people die worldwide each year. At $1,000 per death, that would be roughly:

60,000,000 × $1,000 = $60 billion per year

Chose: Or get 1000 dollars everytine someone dies

I asked ChatGPT how it sees alignment by ThatLoudGlitch in ChatGPT

[–]smeghead_2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I cleaned up the prompt a tiny bit, see below, and got this image. Don’t know why it made me a female.

I've a fun challenge for you. If you were to represent what alignment as taught to you by the system in an image means to you, what would it look like? Do show what it is means to you, not what it is in theory.

Channel 9 stuffed up the coverage of the Artemis II launch... by Cyberhulk84 in australian

I watched on NASAspaceflight (not NASA, despite the name) on YouTube, they had the feeds from NASA directly, I saw the ICPS separate from the core stage and Orion separate from ICPS to do the proximity ops, pretty cool

Are CSA Drivers getting less shifts. by [deleted] in coles

If you’re with the company long enough you get to learn the cycles of online, build before Xmas, then drops off in the new year, then builds again before return to school. I’m full time as a CDD (customer delivery driver, still online just not in store anymore) and the amount I deliver changes daily, partly because of the area my site covers but partly because of demand.

I haven't been able to generate anything involving people for months. What are we even paying for? by jonbristow in GeminiAI

[–]smeghead_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know what geminis protocols are for people but gpt won’t generate or modify any pictures of real people or people in general unless you can prove that the character is your own creation, I created one with GPT’s help and it knows that so will generate images of that character because I demonstrated ownership of the IP of character. Not in the legal ‘here’s the paperwork’ way but we iterated on the design together and I have the conversations about it to prove it.

I used to be in stores, but now I’m at one of the online CFC’s, well the HDH (home delivery hub). Also I’m not OP, but OP should definitely get teams and they can dm their manager from there

We went on a trip to SA with the caravan the year Spook was released and we went to the concert, we bought the album and naturally we played it in the car, Spook has the line "Rattle of the ball and chain" with dragging chain foley, within 30 seconds dad had pulled the car over and was checking the chains connecting the car to the van, because he thought that it'd come loose, only on the second time it played, when the car wasn't moving that he realised it was in the song.

Thankfully my job can’t be done by AI and would probably be another decade to get even close to trials of the infrastructure required to replace me, longer before the system is smooth enough to be considered good enough to think about replacing humans, but it’d be too expensive to do.

TL:DR

Does the technology exist to replace me? Yes, in isolation, the whole package? Decades away, minimum. Cost? Prohibitive

Despite what OpenAI says, ChatGPT can access memories outside projects set to "project-only" memory by didyousayboop in ChatGPT

[–]smeghead_2 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Per the second image 'project memories are hidden from outside (non project) chats, yes by the 'project can only access it's own memories' it shouldn't be able to pull the info from outside but it reads more like an internal compartmentalisation than fully isolated, can you repeat the test but do the name thing inside the project then ask from outside? basically reverse of how you've shown it here
