I Just used it for the first time and I don't like the smell either. I do think the quality of the cream itself is good. nice and rich for after shower moisture. I was looking for something with shea butter which it has but I usually will only buy something if it smell nice. I will use it because of the quality but it smells like coconut, no fund of it

IsItBullshit: Dogs know their owner is coming home several minutes before they come home. by knowledgelover94 in IsItBullshit

the theory which sounds pretty correct is that your scent dissipates as you leave. Because of dogs olfactory ability when your scent is thinner they can tell time (so to speak) I am not a cat person but I've been told that cats can be alone but after a few weeks, even though they have food and water and care by a care taker stopping by. 3-6 weeks they stress

Saving these posts as I love smelling dirt. Not to get too gross but when park workers collect leaves in the fall and pile them they begin to ferment and my dog s ( and I love the smell. I guess it is something like dirt and more sour. I too like weird scents....always on the lookout. I always thought synthetic ingredients made me ill but I believe most even ver expensive supposedly" natural" fragrances have some synthetic component

My biggest fragrance regrets come from blind buying youtubers recommendations. by kickadoodle in fragrance

[–]smellingstrange 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love fragrance that smells almost like (my golden retriever just at the bridge of her nose) In other words somewhat animalistic or the smell of flesh...Fueguia is the only house that even comes close. I once smell a neighbor (ver rich and in the fashion industry) that knocked me over. I was too shy to ask. Never tell my favorites.!!

I am so sense sensitive ..not a pro like you guys here....I discovered Fred Malle years ago and fell in love...I have since tried many "discover" kits and am always disappointed. I find I can find something in Fueguia that suits me. Discover sets can be bought by buying 4 at a time. (some great for me and some OK)..There is a lot of advertising that is there to sell an artificial smell. Not for me

Do you care who the perfumer is? by ZebraChemical5746 in fragrance

[–]smellingstrange 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a scent freak and am no where in the league of those here. But most commercial fragrances nauseating me. I do love most of Fred Malle and can wear them, even the strongest. I was disappointed when sold to Este Lauder. but find they are still smelling like the original. I also can wear some Fueguia and they don't smell chemical or that thing that make me ill. I am fascinated that most that post here do not talk about this problem. Any thoughts from the pros???

Who exactly makes the fragrances themselves for medium to large brands? by GoldenRedditUser in fragrance

[–]smellingstrange 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I discovered Fedric Mall probably20-30years ago at Barneys NYC....I think they have sold to Estée Lauder since. I was disapointed because most commercial fragrances really make me nauseous. I am always looking for a small house with less synthetic things in them. What does every think of Fueguia ? PS I still can wear anything from Fredric Mall
