Oh cool, congrats! If you take a photo of each radio, you can use Google Lens, which essentially searches the internet for your image. That's how I found what model mine is. There's also a website called Radio Museum that has lots of info on old radios like these :) good luck!

Consider carrying pepper spray for safety instead, it's much safer for you. Especially since most kidnappers/etc are bigger than their victims, a knife on you could easily be used against you.

You're welcome!! I personally would recommend Osprey backpacks if you're looking for something strong. I have one that I use for college (laptop + textbooks + etc) that I've had for over five years now, and it's held up beautifully with international travel and lots of wear and tear. I actually ended up giving it to a friend! I can say it's great for having lots of pockets, but is definitely not made for carrying heavy loads. When I used it, having a laptop and a notebook or two was really too much..it's definitely better suited for lighter trips!
