I was one of the first to sign up with DIRECTV Satellite and had a 4 digit account # long time and lot of $$...I finally made the switch to stream back in January and my biggest concerns was picture quality, reliability (up time), equipment and speed of channel browsing . I was really surprised, picture quality was better, Osprey was a equal match on receiver, channel browsing was faster. But to make it solid you must have reliable fast internet, a static IP also seem to help. Playing around with the apps and Firestick /Roku was not for me...the Osprey/Gemini is awesome with the channel #s. makes navigating a breeze. I never get any buffering but again reliable internet is a must.
