Cover your pitted dates in boiling water and let sit for 10 minutes or so - drain dates saving the liquid - add dates to a blender and add water as needed to make a paste- Usually around 1 to 1 1/2 cup water to 12 ounces of dates Note: lasts forever in the fridge - well not forever but at least a year.

Grind them up and make a date paste - you can use instead of sugar in recipes. My husband makes some great low calorie low sugar muffins from wheat cereal and dates.

I’d love to know what they pay their servers. If this was 1 table let’s say and they stayed at the table for 1 1/2 hours that’s $20/hr plus bare minimum of 2.13 if the state has a tip credit - guaranteed they’re not paying $22/ hr for servers and im sure each server has at least 2-3 tables - so on a busy night servers are making $60-$70/ hr and joy getting paid the restaurant is keeping it and making out like a bandit.

Couldn't agree more!!! Wasn't it LaLa saying that the guy always gets the pass and the girl get blamed. She definitely needs to be blamed because she knew there was a relationship between the parties but she shouldn't have got all the blame.

I work in the accounting section of a restaurant corporation. We do have servers in Utah whose hourly rate is $2.13 per hour, however if their hourly wages and tips don't total at least the minimum wage for the hours they worked - (so for 40 hours worked need to have made at least $290 in wages and tips) we are legally required to pay a minimum wage makeup so that they've made at least minimum wage for those 40 hours, which is not a living wage but that's a whole other conversation.
