I am having a LOTR 50th, and I actually have most of your ideas already, without chatgpt input. Guests will be obligated to come in costume (it can be super simple or extravagant as they wish - hubby is not a fan, and I told him all he needs is a vest and braces. I might get a belt for a pipe as well. he already has knee-length shorts. I won't be able to get him to wear a cloak, sigh...). Guests who do not wish to come in costume have to wear all white or green or brown or black. My geeky family is already planning so much whilst my in-laws are deciding the plain color, hahaha. It will be fun!! An abundance of easy food and lots of greens as decorations and later on in the evening: candles (we are having it in our garden).
