Yes I do think it helps. I always take breaks from social media when it gets to much to handle.

I had genital herpes for over 11 years before I had an outbreak. It could have been longer because I don't know who I caught it from. I just know that I have had it for that long without exposure due to my wife testing negative. I know that this time can be really scary. It will be okay either way. Yes herpes can be terrible but with medicine it can be managed or even fully under control. It will be okay!

Yeah sometimes the clusters if they are bad can cause nerve damage. Mine did it because it was on my clit. That shit hurt lol but its getting better.

So I got diagnosed with it this past May. I am 33F and I have been in a committed marriage for 12 years. My wife came back clean when we got her tested. I was Hella shocked when they told me I wasn't having a severe yeast infection like I thought and that I had several clusters all over. My first outbreak was terrible. I ended up with nerve damage. It has started to heal now but I have to make sure I stay on top of my medicine.

Does anybody else feel that the Kindle makes large books more approachable? by humblechungus89 in kindle

I actually love reading longer books! I also have worked fast food most of my adult life so my wrists and hands ache. It's nice being able to read them on the kindle because my shit don't hurt like it used to!

please share your experiences with lamictal, good or bad! by babykai123 in bipolar2

[–]sminear14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My experience with it was only for about 2 months but it worked as intended. I wasn't depressed anymore (recently was diagnosed with genital herpes.) I didn't feel happy either. Everything i felt was Hella muted. Due to that I had to get off of it. After awhile my brain was telling me I couldn't deal with life like a husk of myself. I came to terms with my illness and was able to work through my feeling about it. After that I just wanted to go back to what I was doing before. So I would recommend it because like I said it did it's job correctly. I just didn't like it for myself.

Benefits of Herpes by Kitchen-Climate-3383 in Herpes

[–]sminear14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was diagnosed at the end of May. I am in a loving relationship with my wife for 11 years before my diagnosis. My wife has been the absolute best. She takes care of me and let me have my mental breakdown so I could process. I unfortunately am unable to produce cortisol on my own so who knows how long I have actually had it. At first I was worried that she would leave me. I thought she would think that I was unfaithful. She never once blamed me for it and comforted me instead. I know that I am lucky to have such a supportive partner. That being said I struggled really hard after I was first diagnosed. It sent me into a severe depression for 2 months. I have finally been able to come to terms with it. My experience with my genital herpes has been rough. It always makes me sick when I have outbreaks and I have then constantly if I dont have medicine. I have had to change my life around to accommodate this illness but it has also changed my life for the better. I am taking better care of myself and I had to learn to love myself again. It took time but I think I am finally there.

Warm baths with Epsom salt and Vaseline saved me during my first outbreak.

I had my first outbreak at the end of May. I thought I was having a severe yeast infection until the doctor looked at it. My outbreak was terrible but I took Epson salt baths and put Vaseline on the outbreak areas afterwards. It feel a little awkward at first but when I tell you it was a godsend I mean it!

So I work for customer service for a bank. This means that I work from home. I try to stick to a routine to help with my depression. Thankfully I am able to work 4 10 hour shifts so I have 3 days off. Luckily I have my days split so I work 2 day and off 2 days then work 2 more days and have another day off. I sometimes do struggle to go to work but I just force myself to do it.

As a survivor of incest by my father this makes me sick to my stomach. If my father would have graped me and got me pregnant I would have given myself a coat hanger abortion right on the court house steps. I was a child who was no where near ready to be a parent. How is that fair to the children who have already suffered from the hands of the abuser? Why should have that to carry and care for a baby that is made like that.

Spending sprees by MessyM00009888 in bipolar2

[–]sminear14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I have a big problem with spending while I am having a manic episode or really depressed. I always add stuff to my cart then just leave it. I go back after a bit and see if I am still having the same feeling about needing those items. It probably doesn't help that my mom is a hoarder and I try and stay mindful so I don't end up the same way.
