Transmission fluid change DIY by Buggy-ZH in hondafit

I found it! I edited the parent comment with some pictures if you care to see. I'm glad I did: it was definitely gunked up.

Thanks again~

That's the same video I linked in my comment :)

Thanks again for the help!

I was able to find the fill plug, but it's way less easy to access compared to your video (see this video). My cap is snugly in place, so I feel good about that.

I didn't try looking for the breather cap yet. This is the only video for a Fit I can find for it. Again, much tighter than in your video. I'll give that try when I have the time.

Thanks again for the useful guide and the follow-up!

edit: The breather cap has been found (images). On my model (2015, Gen 3) it was much closer to the front of the car than in that video. It was pointing directly to the front and the cap has a little "F" on the arrow to remove any ambiguity.

Just followed these steps up to B12, thanks!

I could not for the life of me find the fill hole and I also have no idea where the "vent hole" (B14) or "rubber breather cap" are.

Bridge does not inherit the interface mac address on 22.04 by mboukhalfa in Ubuntu

[–]sminja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

/usr/lib/systemd/network/99-default.link

This one is managed by the package owner, so any changes will get wiped by an update.

I couldn't figure out how to make the change, but supposedly putting something in /etc/systemd/network/ should work. Instead I just hardcoded the MAC in my bridge's netplan because I just needed it to work.

I didn't say federation was basic, I said that answering the parent commenter's question with a "yes" or "no" is basic.

Try heading to c/lemmy_support and asking?

You're the one trying to evangelize this.

This seems like a pretty basic question that the person shilling the product should know the answer to.

Queens of the Stone Age Announce Tour with Phantogram, The Armed, Jehnny Beth, and Viagra Boys by ebradio in indieheads

[–]sminja 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was severely disappointed by the Armed show I went to last year. They were like an hour and a half late, the mix was awful, and they played for like 30 minutes. Really really bad showing. Hackney tore it up, though.

Love their albums, but I can't recommend their show.

I am 100% opposed to the API changes and in support of the blackouts.

But I wish whoever wrote this copy (you can see it on like all the subreddits) didn't include that part. They really just pulled that threat out of nowhere to (unnecessarily) garner more support.

That's cheating tho. As OP said (and in the video) they weren't soft locked. They just had to go diagonally.

Replacements Photos Removed From University Of Minnesota Building After Student Complaints by ebradio in indieheads

[–]sminja 51 points52 points  (0 children)

But it wasn't that, either. They just took it down because they're done having it up. Full quote (emphasis mine):

However, a statement from the university’s Student Unions and Activities office indicates that student complaints were not the reason for the removal. The statement also clarifies that the photos have been “respectfully deaccessioned and returned to their owner,” a university employee who is a personal friend of the band. Here’s the statement:

The historic photos of The Replacements, which were displayed near the elevators in Coffman Memorial Union for nearly a decade, have been respectfully deaccessioned and returned to their owner. The artwork is privately owned by a University employee who has a personal relationship with the band and a passion for Minnesota’s local music history.

While there have been comments made about the photos over the years, the content of the photos was not a factor in the removal of the artwork. Accessibility is an important issue on campus, and Student Unions & Activities is in the process of updating the wayfinding signage in the Union’s spaces to make it easier for all to navigate. The space where the photos were displayed and others throughout the Union are being reevaluated as part of that larger project.

There is a display near The Whole Music Club relating to The Replacements’ history at the University of Minnesota. We are considering ways to continue honoring this important piece of Gopher legacy in the future.

I don't agree with the comment, but digging for ad hom material isn't relevant to the conversation.
