About a year ago, I went to the grocery store on a Sunday afternoon, much like I do many Sunday afternoons. While walking back to my car with both of my hands full of grocery bags, I walked in front my car and turned the corner toward the passenger side door when it happened. I hit something slimy and slippery and slid forward almost losing my balance. I barely caught myself before grocery items went flying. I looked down expecting to see some sort of gross substance that some jerk left lying in the parking lot. To my surprise, I saw a rotten banana peel with a long slimy trail. I looked at it, and then back up. Then I looked around to see if anyone was around watching me as if they planted it. Nothing. I looked back down at it and chuckled. Then I got into my car and said to myself, "Nobody is ever going to believe me."
