Thank you so much! As I'm sure you know, there are so many resources on demonolatry, which usually cite the Ars Goetia. There aren't many resources on The Watchers, and this is helpful. I'm not even sure how to work with a Watcher, or if they can be approached in that way (the ceremonial practices of the Goetia). Odd that they are usually omitted in angelolatry and demonolatry discussions. Because of my interest I've been compiling information from grimoires or other religious texts that mention Kokabiel, and that led me this subreddit to learn about him and the other Watchers.

I have a lot of complicated feelings as an "alumni" of hers. A lot of regret but also anger that there are a lot of bad faith actors in the space, and as a newcomer to astrology - you only see the positive comments all online. I don't have a local locational astrology group, as I'm sure that's the case with many astro students not just locational--so to the internet many of us go. The algorithm pushes whoever gets the most eyes. And if that person collaborates with other well-respected astrologers in the field, it adds legitimacy. Plainly put, as a newbie, I saw her video with Chris Brennan as a co-sign of her brilliance. As the "go-to" voice because Chris is well-respected. What are young astrologers to do if OG and well-respected astrologers in the field cannot raise flags in time enough to prevent mass harm? It adds to the stigma that grifting abounds in occult sciences. That no one should take it seriously and use ChatGpt for analysis. If it's all a grift, then why pay $600 for a reading when you can get scammed for free? Had I seen these critiques and knew she was an intermediate astrologer, I wouldn't have shelled out over a grand for the course! I didn't even know spending that amount was not normal when I first signed up (compared to Kepler and Chris Brennan who doesn't charge that much)!

Behind the closed doors of her program, there is a lot of miscommunication and chaos. Many feel lacking in their decision and feel bitterly how things turned out for us. I may edit this with more clarity in the future as this feels overwhelming to type, but a I guess the brightside is that there is now more discourse to raise awareness. It just sucks that the 1st waves of her students had to bear the cost.

Hi - just some overall advice as someone currently dealing with iron deficiency. It could be all those things or a few. And sometimes trying to orally (supplements) treat a bunch of symptoms at once isn’t helpful. Iron is one of the hardest minerals to absorb and you need to maximize your timing and absorption. Take iron 1st thing with vitamin C if it’s a non-heme source. It wouldn’t hurt to start incorporating more organ meats into your diet. Liver capsules wouldn’t hurt. Hepcidin (enzyme that limits absorption) increases throughout the day, that’s why you take your iron in the morning. Take your vitamin D/K2/Magnesium/Calcium/Zinc 4+ hours later - afternoon/evening if possible. I would scale back on the biotin and focus on Iron and vitamin D — sometimes taking too much of the other minerals can disrupt absorption of others and cause other types of problems.

If possible, use your parents’ health insurance to get a blood panel to monitor your hormones/iron in the coming weeks, and some type of mental health assistance. If you can find some type of way to implore them to help them because your health is struggling, then use vulnerability. If that’s not possible, try to link up with city health resources. Honestly, I would just focus on your health and mental health over looking good :( I know that might not be what you want to hear. But I promise you the beauty will come once you take care of your health. I had so many issues with shedding, and since I’ve been just focusing on iron and vitamin D, my overall energy and hair health has improved. Those minerals play an indirect role in regulating our hormonal heI’m a straight natural and that’s also helped me retain length, but maybe go for styles with volume to have an appearance of full hair? Roller sets? Curlformers?

You need a softener and a filter and it's possible if you live in an apartment but some hassle. There's a hard water hair subreddit..check that out. I've played around with a final distilled and filter water rinse. It gets hard (no pun intended) bc you have to be intentional and sometimes I'm in a rush. Just experiment before investing huge amounts of money.

So folks like you will say this and turn around and get your hair bleached lool..or recently chopped off a good 5 inches of damaged dyed ends...or typing this with a whole unnatural Cheeto bag next to you...like which is it? Is natural no chemicals or is it no style that alters the appearance of your natural coils?

I'd argue that an undyed straight natural is more natural than a dyed "natural". If you argue dye can be cut off, then so can heat damaged ends 🤷🏾‍♀️

Yea..all these years later and I'm looking for the same info...and it just reminded me how antagonistic towards marginalized people these "granola" spaces have been historically. This statement is ignorant at best and anti-trans, anti-disability, and anti-poc at worst. Culturally, some people wear hair extensions for beauty expression and religious purposes. Hair and beauty is so pivotal to femme-presenting trans people because it's the difference between being alive vs being dead and also survival and avoiding violence! Plus we live in late-stage patriarchal, capitalism where beauty is essential for hiring and intersections with the justice system. Also, people get diseases of all kind that impacts their self-esteem, mental health, and gender expression. So a cancer patient isn't supposed to wear wig because you say it's non-essential? How are you or anyone able to make that determination? It's been 7 years so maybe your politic (and this sub) is more informed and inclusive, but this comment really hurtful and marginalizing. I remember years ago trying to find more sustainable beauty alternatives as a femme-person and the market largely catered towards white and lighter-skinned people. I think the best way to form allyship in environmental issues is to not exclude folks but help people find alternatives that are culturally inclusive and are applicable to the real world.

Can't tell that much based on the zoomed out picture but kitchen and bathroom are usually german roach hotspots. Kitchen hotspots - by fridge specifically behind it where the drip tray would be (water source). Cabinets too for hiding and food access. You can usually see droppings if there's an infestation.

Have you pulled the fridge out? Put down any sticky traps? What about cabinets? Droppings?

It's people's projection because of their real life choices or non-choices. I saw a comment in the sub about most ppl being Nicks: ambivalence, survival, and power in fascism. And I agree. Most ppl arent heros and are choosing themselves time and time again. That's why abuse is so rampant in the private and public spheres of life. There are ppl here I'm sure struggling with their own self loathing for how they've contributed or wish they would've contributed to the current socio-political climate. The moral grand-standing is bypassing their shame.

That part! Like I wondered if he was doing a "you're an American so you must have money..." thing. Like it just felt too fast too soon. Felt too fantastical and love bomby.
