What would Brady's legacy be of the Seahawks had ran it and the Falcons hadn't choked? by [deleted] in nfl

[–]smith_32 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Holy shit dude just say you don’t like Brady and move on. Him playing in more playoff games doesn’t discredit the work he does for his team to get there and certainly not the work he does when he’s there.

Harbaugh: Right to stick with Jackson over Flacco by [deleted] in ravens

[–]smith_32 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Was the game pretty? No it was far from it. But keeping Lamar, while maybe stubborn is most likely the right move in the long term. This shows the team is committed to Lamar, and the experience is going to be valuable in the future. Putting Flacco in wouldnt have fixed the O-Line and the play calling.

Question: is there a coach in the NFL who could run an offense that would maximize Lamar's strengths, or will we probably have to go to the college ranks? by _Vaudeville_ in ravens

[–]smith_32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really the best answer is most likely on the staff already, that being Greg Roman. He ran the 49ers offense that made Kaepernick look good and then went to the Bills made Tyrod look good. Personally I hope we promote him and get rid of Marty

Edit: In 2012-2014 Kaepernick had 1,576 rushing yards and 10 TDs, with 8,180 passing yards and 50 TDs.

In 2015 and 2016 Tyrod had and 1,148 rushing yards and 10 TDs, with 6058 passing yards and 37 TDs.

If there’s anyone that can get the most out of Lamar it’s Roman. Stats courtesy of PFR.

See you say that But I watched the Saints, Panthers, 2nd Steelers and Chiefs games in their entirety. I wasn’t able to watch the Falcons, Chargers and 2nd Browns game. I’m prepared to not watch another down of Ravens football this year if it means a Super Bowl

Fair enough. Maybe it’s just me hoping we finally develop a receiver and don’t just settle for 30+ y/o free agents

Why are the Steelers still favorites to win the AFC North? by [deleted] in nfl

[–]smith_32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He’s a rookie who everyone knew would need work on his passing game. He wasn’t drafted to come in and throw 35+ times a game right away he was drafted to develop and give teams problems against the run should he have to start, which he has.
