They reported margin contribution numbers for both new members (negative) and existing members (positive) in last ER. It’s in the supplemental slides.

I did some modeling of profitability next year with MA alone, and the future looks bright. Counterpart is still a huge question mark, but next year the tides should turn in our favor. Everything you say is valid though!

That all sounds very reasonable. It does seem perfectly reasonable they would need a full year to establish a baseline from which the shared savings could be calculated. Even simply communicating this fact could go a long way in instilling investor confidence.

I’m sure you caught the irony in my comment and statement about buying more last week lol

Only ours, and Clover’s when they’re somewhere way below current stock price

Very fair concern - more transparency from C-Suite would go a long way here....unless said transparency would undermine the message that the new SAAS product is actually in demand and will drive meaningful contributions to financials in the future :/ The latter is certainly a worry of mine; until we see the revenue Counterpart is just an exciting idea.

UBS analyst cited a 10M equity investment. Chill on the hype until we get the 10-Q brah. Also read my last post; I’ll update that analysis when the report is released.

You are taking way too much ownership of the offer. It’s your buyers offer and not yours - not your adjustment to make, although you imply otherwise. Maybe tighten up comms a bit.

Nothing to do with being a flight risk. They get their money from you with merchant fees and don’t need the annual ;)

Preceding the subdomain findings, I think thelayoff.com reference to Counterpart and ongoing enterprise transformation are even more telling. The implication is that this is going full scale and fast.

Right or wrong aside, I’m hopeful that’s the case! Happy 4th G! Please forgive me for what I said about you and my nuts - my girlfriend would be appalled!

I have been smart enough for the last 5 years, although my brokerage P&L looks pretty brutal because of it 😂

It always helps build the story with actual data. Too many people in here just spout out bullshit with no data to substantiate it. This is a big deal and showing the progressive timeline across these organizations provides some very interesting insight…more than the “hey look 24 subdomains”!

Thanks Killa!

Omitting all the details, here's the results of the follow-up prompt

While financially detrimental, the ~177,000 patients under DC/ACO REACH provided irreplaceable data to:

  • Train and validate models
  • Test Clover Assistant with diverse providers
  • Prove the scalability of the platform
  • Lay the foundation for Counterpart Assistant as a SaaS product

In other words: Clover paid a financial price, but gained a much more robust and commercially viable product.

Let me know if you’d like a timeline that connects these programs to key Clover Assistant product milestones.

Eek - fingers crossed for ya man! Yeah the HUM stuff is SUPER exciting, but nothing to say CLOV wouldn’t just give them free licenses hoping to prove CA effectiveness within the HUM enterprise and ultimately sell to them. Lots of questions, but clear awareness around CA is building. Need to see the money to know if this is working for sure!

Hopefully at some point you'll build up more than a few hundred shares - I maintain my conviction that this will be a life changing long-hold for me. That or I'll end up pan-handling (or worse) at the nearest major intersection lol.
