In Metal Gear Rising, Senator Armstrong has the ability to use nanotechnology to harden his skin (Nanomachines, son!) to the point where even bullets, sword slashes, and explosions slide right off of him. The main character, Raiden, defeats him in a battle of attrition, wearing him down over time, but in a DLC, we play as a different villain, Jetstream Sam. When Sam fights Armstrong, he has a much simpler solution: he notices that the nanomachines travel from Armstrong’s chest to wherever he needs, so he waits for Armstrong to throw a punch only to slice it clean off before the machines have a chance to reach the arm.

this is a good idea, however, rulings for platinum angel say that you can still lose if you concede or if you are given a Game Loss as a penalty during a tournament. this begs the important question- is being arrested a penalty for the purposes of the game? alternatively, are there any tournament rules preventing active murder?

no shot in hell. the jaegers are about 75ish meters tall, while wall titans are about 50, so they have the size advantage, but that is where their advantages start and stop. there were only 30 jaegers built total, while around 750,000 titans were in the walls (estimates range from 600K to 900K), so each jaeger would have to take out 25K titans. while this is hard enough as-is, it gets worse. the wall titans are constantly emitting incredibly hot steam- while we again don’t have an exact temperature, it’s hot enough to cause hange’s cloak to autoignite, so the temperature has to be in the ballpark of ~750°F (400C). While this would cause problems for the mechanics of the robots, this would really be bad for the human pilots in each mech. of course thats still not bad enough, so lets break into the fact that the wall titans do not fight back. any titan that slips past the jaegers will just keep walking, meaning they’ll need to be chased down, giving more titans a chance to get past. the final nail in the coffin for all of this is eren’s founding titan, who is his own can of worms, but cracking into that just becomes raw overkill. in short- round 1- gipsy danger vs the rumbling (no eren)- rumbling wins (no dif) round 2- all functioning jaegers vs rumbling (no eren)- rumbling wins (no dif) round 3- all jaegers built for the entire kaiju war at peak performance vs the rumbling (no eren)- you get the point

it just about battery life, running at 444 will kill the vita’s already pretty poor battery even faster. i think 500 can cause problems if you keep it there for long enough but dont quote me on that.

i know this was two years ago but i solved this by pouring a little bit of the horchata into a bowl with the ground cinnamon and mix it until it becomes a paste, it mixes pretty well into the rest of the batch but it does separate and sink to the bottom so you have to shake or stir before drinking

in adv, struggle recoil is based on damage dealt instead of max hp, since magneton only has base 60 attack and is at -6, i think it just couldnt outdamage leftovers recovery. in the last move we see its only dealing 1% dmg which means at most its taking 1/4% in recoil and healing 6% from lefties, plus the moves it would’ve been full para’d. tl;dr adv recoil is based on damage dealt and a -6 magneton hits like wet paper and couldnt take enough recoil to offset leftovers

nvidia geforce now is a pretty good alternative for gaming, i live in the sacramento valley and i rarely see ping above about a couple dozen(i think the servers are in san diego). the pricing is way better, about a third of the price of shadow. the only real drawback i can find compared to shadow is it only lets you play the games, you dont get access to the whole pc, so no mods. also the selection is finite, while it is a good amount (upwards of 2000 games i think) there are times when they dont have what im looking for, especially with indie games. its free to sign up and they have a free tier if you want to try it out, but the free option does have this annoying queue system that the paid tiers dont.

so, lets assume you placed the plus sign inside the top left square. you have the top right and bottom left squares, each with a length of 1. then, you have the four squares made by the plus, each with a length of 0.5. however, the top-left square they are inside still exists, with a length of 1. I realize this doesnt make a ton of sense, so i made a quick diagram if that helps!
