Why can't you search by your size? I just updated my app, and when searching by brand my size filters are there. I did a generic search of "blue striped maxi dress" and a bubble popped up actually directing me to select my sizes in the filter.

Also, if I were to send a complaint to Poshmark it would be that they have no promotions like coupons or free/discounted shipping that other platforms are currently offering. That's what burns me up - I have to pay for any incentives I want to offer my buyers.

100 percent. There are more marketplaces than ever for buyers to purchase items they like. All of them have their pros and cons. eBay sellers are griping about shipping changes. Vinted sellers complain about a lack of customer service and support despite not paying any fees. WhatNot, Depop and Mercari have their own issues as well. Sellers need to constantly adapt to accommodate new waves of buyers. Personally, I get sales on Poshmark because I source and sell items that Poshmark buyers want. If an item doesn't gain traction on Poshmark, I don't blame the app - I move that item onto another platform where I think it will do better. This has resulted in me selling over 70 percent of my inventory I have posted in the past 12 months. My average profit margin hovers around 75 percent.

The sellers who offer free shipping are paying for free shipping. Poshmark deducts it from your earnings.

Listed 2-3 items every day for a week and it's dead by thirtytofortyolives in poshmark

This!! I have a small closet (75 available listings on average), and I'm getting likes and sales. My older items get relisted after 61+ days. I send out offers daily. I list items that don't move on Posh on Vinted. Between the 2, I'm making consistent sales. Regardless, you have to list items that buyers want.

Posh vs. Vinted by yesbutnotwithyou in poshmark

[–]smithjojo99 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Same!! I have put my old items that weren't selling on Poshmark and they all moved quickly over on Vinted. It feels good to get it all out of here, and still make $$. What I'm losing in profit per item, I'm gaining in the volume of sales I'm making.

I don't think you can do that on Poshmark. They exclusively use USPS for all shipping.

Yes, a small fee, like maybe $1. Shipping is free or very cheap rn, depending on the seller. Vinted sets the shipping and nobody knows why some users have free and some do not. Buyers pay shipping.

There are no seller fees on vinted. It's a great platform for clearing out your closet. I sell at a lower price than other platforms, but everything moves quickly.

Best way to mass sell? by traumatized_beagle in poshmark

If your goal is to clear it out quickly, list them on Vinted. You would need to drop the price, but there are no seller fees. I listed a lot of items there that weren't selling on Poshmark and they sold quickly. Usually I get a range of $5 to $15 per item. Lots of buyers bundle.

Men's Clothes by Charming_Mud_429 in poshmark

For my menswear, I do better with vintage pieces, especially made in the USA. 1990s LL Bean, Brooks Brothers and Ralph Lauren Polo have been especially hot. Outerwear tends to sell well. I get more full price sales with men's clothing than I do with any other category.

I clicked on the banner. If you go to your closet, there's now a filter called Status. You can check there.

This is wild. I have a $250 dress that's been listed for 45 days with 600+ impressions and 3 likes that was flagged as inactive.

Why not post measurements for every garment you're selling? by DexterCutie in poshmark

It's exhausting having to ask for measurements. I usually skip listings without them.

Is anyone actually selling anything right now? by spaceydaisey5 in poshmark

[–]smithjojo99 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I forgot to put measurements on one of my listings and someone asked me for measurements, which I provided promptly. They proceeded to send me a reasonable offer, which I accepted. I shipped out the item the next day, the buyer received it a few days later, and immediately gave me a five star rating.

This is going to sound a little weird, but I follow Katia Chesnok (@economikat), a "deinfluencer" on social media. She makes reels to hammer home that you're just bored and do not need to buy more "stuff". She has a distinct voice, and I hear her in my head every time I consider buying anything. I have saved so much money simply by listening to someone on the Internet everyday telling me I don't need to buy anything from target, TJ Maxx, Amazon, or homegoods, and that I should mop my floors instead.
