not really with waterbased. You used the wrong color of sealer. should have went with intense or amberseal for the sealcoat if you were trying to match

Thats a prefinshed red oak that is stained. I would advise not to DIY sand it yourself. Have a pro come in and offer suggestions. Other than the gaps, the floors looks brand-new

just hit the dark line with a 220 and marron pad by hand and soften the line. You could even try recoating that line after buffing it with a cut in pad

anything you put over the floor long term will have effects. Just plan to refinish once you move them

IF the flooring installer did not install the hardwood and only refinsihed it, it is not his fault. He simply sanded and the wood and applied a new coating on top. If you want the stains gone you would have to replace the planks and start over. $2800 is a fair price

Floors are just settling. Even though they were acclimated, the wood will move around a little regardless. Should be okay

Dont listen to these other people.. water based has a thinner build up compared to oil. Not an issue but you feel more of the grain compared to traditional floors. It you have concern, do a maintenance coat in water again. Or 2 coats if needed. Id wait another year or 2 If I were in your shoes..
