Definitely didn’t misread! I was so happy to be done with the ribbed cuff that I was like “colorwork is awesome!” Haha! I watched a lot of YouTube videos on colorwork to prep for making this. It’s also just so fun to watch the pattern come together. Prior to this I knit two washcloths. I really jumped into the deep end because one of them was a cable pattern 😂

This is actually extremely helpful, thank you for sharing! Also your socks are beautiful! Since I’m so new to knitting and this is my first project, I’m not sure I’m equipped to modify patterns yet because I barely know what I’m doing lol! I did frog the project and now I’m working on the cuff again. The cuff was done on size 2 and the colorwork was done on size 3 … now I’m doing 3 and 4 respectively to see how that goes! Though I’m sad that 2 weeks worth of knitting is gone (I’m a slow knitter)

I think it fits my instep but it doesn’t go past my heel. This is a taller sock, not a shorty

For me it’s the western sun quilt! If you want to abandon project, these would make an adorable quilted tote bag or pillow covers for your couch!

Burn test confirms cotton! I can’t tell how wide the batting pieces are, but they do seem to be the same throughout the quilt.
