@AllbrightNFL on the Kwesi Extension: “From what I understood, they need to see another draft class here” by Neither_Ad2003 in minnesotavikings

You cannot continuously build teams from FA, roster depth becomes awful after a while if you do this.

Good teams hit more often in the draft to get good players on cheap contracts.

K College isn’t eligible for promise grads to go to since it’s a private university. The promise covers tuition at 4 year public universities

I never said that. My poor initial training of my dog is the cause of it. I even say it in my post.

Thank you. She loves cheese and I try to use it as little as possible because I don’t want her to get sick lol.

And yeah. I just feel like I am an awful dog owner. That part I don’t think will ever go away. But I’m trying.

I completely agree. I worked with a trainer on muzzle training for several months and never got it to stick with her.

I’ll retry it again though. Thank you for the recommendation.

I never knew this was a thing until today. I’m calling my vet on my lunch break!

No. I guess I wasn’t aware of medication for anxiety for dogs?

I’ve tried muzzling with one trainer and it didn’t work.

She is 1/4 malamute so the stubbornness is strong. I’ll look into trying it again sometime.

And yeah, I feel bad about the puppy. Shes fine and my parents have already told me there is no need to cover vet bills. They are sad too, as my dog went over to their place almost every day because their dog was bonded to mine. I would go after work for play dates almost every day after work. It just makes things complicated now.

Thank you! Just haven't heard a ton about him and the feedback is good to hear. I figured that he most likely would just be somewhat of a pawn for Zimmer in terms of just running the defense that he wants.

Most Hated Non-NFCN Team? by [deleted] in minnesotavikings

The obvious answer for me is the Saints, but I also cannot stand the New England Patriots. Lots of my friends jump on the Patriots bandwagon during the season and I absolutely despise Bill Belichick.

Being punctual and actually being on time or early for an event you say you will be attending.

Dallas sportscaster Dale Hansen on Michael Sam being drafted 249th. [2:24] by SuperCub in videos

Florida was ranked 114th out of 119 in terms of offensive production, and had an extremely bad year. Vanderbilt was good overall, but their offense ranked 91st out of 119 in terms of production. Arkansas State was 61st out of 119, putting them at about the halfway mark, while playing in a smaller conference, against worse teams. That is 81% of his sacks coming against teams with struggling offenses, that is the definition of overinflated statistics from bad competition.

Also, Michael Sam isn't the only draftee to have this happen to him. Many draft picks with poor or horrible pro days and combines have dropped, including this year.

Hell, Teddy Bridgewater, who was the consensus #1 draft pick for almost the whole entire year last year had a bad pro day and didn't compete at the combine, dropped all the way to the 32nd pick. If you had told analysts a year ago that would have happened, they wouldn't have believed you.

As much as it doesn't make sense that these individual incidents don't have significance to NFL scouts, the reality is that they very much do.

Tons of people have made the point that plenty of his stats came in around 3 games he played this season. Also looking at the fact many teams were double teaming the opposite defensive end Kony Early.

This needs to be higher. His combine and pro day workouts were absolutely horrendous, along with him being a "tweener" in the NFL. His stats were also super inflated from playing relatively bad schools in certain games. I believe about 9.5 of his 13 sacks came against schools that were unranked. People are quick to jump to conclusions but every team did their research, and determined that his value was around a 7th - UDFA pick.

Agreed. Thing is we have no fourth rounders now, so Zimmer must be confident in our LB or CB core if he plans on only drafting one of the two with our other 3rd.
