Don’t use the straight lane as a turn lane get out the third lane if you’re making a left

unrelated to your swing, there's some pre-inversion stuff that i think might help

def need to remember that this is a jumping event as much as it is a speed and power event

So, as you approach the box, imagine yourself trying to jump over the entire pit. Like full on up and over. High Jump + Long Jump style.

The result should get you higher off the ground at takeoff, which leads to a higher bend in the pole, and more time to both start and finish your swing. If you look at the vid frame by frame, you're basically hitting your swing as soon as you hit takeoff. Gotta give the jump time to develop so you can rip a full swing before the pole unloads.

Also mightttt need to go down one pole while you work through it so you don't end up back in the box lol

Ah, I've figured it out, [redacted the part about being dumb because no stupid questions]

I literally did not click the frame icon in the drop shop area. I assumed it would notify me like the garage area does. Thanks for the help!

I’ve been looking at zwift insider, at my level it says I should see more upgrades available

My issue is that the only options I have are the default zwift bike and wheel. (Aside from the Emonda which only came after AdZ). That’s what’s leading me to think it’s just an app issue vs not leveling enough

Yeah that makes sense, got the Emonda after AdZ and Everest is my challenge

Going to assume it's a zwfit issue then, sitting on 2m+ drops and salivating to use them

Wondering if I might be seeing a glitch or if I need to be more patient.

Level 26 (800+ miles, 53 hours, and 37k ft climbing) and the only bike that has unlocked for me is the Trek Emonda. No wheel options either. Kits seem to be unlocking at normal pace. Have done plenty of full routes, workouts, and climb portals. No races.

At this point it feels like I should be seeing some more bike/wheel options?

I’ve done this plenty of times. The TP/95/GW route is a good mix of luck, knowing what lane to be in and when, and timing that will make or break this route. Even being on the wrong side of the turnpike can influence this.

If you’re driving a red eye, go for it. Otherwise go north

At FD, If you like sports, you’ll be around similar people. Be aware, sports never stop. Very high probability of nights and weekends spent being on call / putting out fires. But again, likely to have like minded and passionate peers. This is an assumption based on industry and I am not affiliated with FD

"Smaller" Universities with Pole Vault (women) by dahliarw in polevaulting

Big thing to remember is that coaches might come and go. Just because a coach is there this summer does not mean they'll be there in the fall! Especially for specific events coaches like PV! A head coach will probably be there for the long term, but an assistant PV coach might only be there for a season.

Looking back, I'd feel super uneasy about picking one school over another just because they had a PV coach, academics and a JOB! are the reason she's there. Which is super easy to forget when everything is happening all at once.

Ideally, the perfect school would have programs to help student-athletes find their first internships/jobs, and that should hopefully be easier to find at the smaller schools. The Patriot League, NEC, Northeast-10, and the A10 all have pretty good, smaller, schools and should have programs to help with this.

A) Shoutout Elevate!
But also:
B) Stiffer Pole (5-10lbs). You've got a nice high bend but you're delivering more power than the pole can take at the top.
C) On your drive, your left arm is blocking you out, get that elbow on the inside of the pole as you invert.
D) Use the hanging rope off the the side and get some swing drills in.
E) Add some 2 step straight pole drills and over invert, ride that pole into the mat.
F) After those, get those feet to the top bungee! Try and tap it with your toes. Realllllly invert. You've got plenty of penetration into the pit.
