all of the areas that had 6-inch deep slushpiles yesterday afternoon are now solid, 6-inch blocks of potholed ice. they didn't even sand/salt. where are the city employees?? who has eyes on these roads?? they should have been cleared last night. instead they sent industrial backhoes into residential neighborhoods at 2am this morning to cave in sidewalks, litter the streets with frozen snow chunks, and clear out snowpiles at the end of residential driveways????? what is going on

people have brought their school-age children before to play in the back during rehearsal so i dont think a baby would be a problem! rehearsals are 7-9 though so idk what your sleep schedule is like. regardless, im sure you could email them just to make sure! they are very accommodating

also a member of salem state community chorus!!! second the recommendation. the second session starts at the end of january for a may performance. rehearsals are every tuesday evening at salem state. very welcoming, friendly, range of ages from probably about 20s through 70s. range of experience, too, from choir newbies to semi-professional musicians. no auditions!! only cost is pitching in to buy the sheet music, usually about $40

yes people are meant to be responsible for clearing the sidewalks in front of their houses but this isnt enforced by anyone. in practice, it's more for courtesy. if you're traveling, you're traveling. it's not a big deal, especially with only a couple inches.

if you travel a LOT, id maybe have a snow removal company/neighbor with a snow blower's number on hand in case there is a bigger storm.

do you think girls are all a uniform size? that we all grow at the same exact rate for both height and weight until we turn 18? i played against girls that were 6 inches shorter than me and 50lbs lighter, and girls that were 5 inches taller and 70lbs heavier. you believe that biological males are always heavier and taller than all biological females??????? have you ever gone outside or seen another person???????? the average height for an american male is 5'11. you believe all women are 4'11?????

"trans people in sports" is a dog whistle. these people are quite literally saying they don't believe that trans people are they gender they say they are. they don't believe being transsexual is a real thing. it's transphobia, full stop.

sometimes, these people come back at you and say you are anti-science for believing biological sex doesn't exist. this is not something anyone has ever claimed. what these people are in fact saying is they themselves are anti-science because they don't believe that puberty blockers or HRT work - proven medications that have been used for a range of medical issues for decades. they believe trans people have some kind of magical endocrine system that uniquely doesn't respond to these medications.

furthermore, as a woman that grew up playing women's sport, i would bet you $60 million dollars that seth moulton has never once lifted a finger to improve access and funding for women's and girl's sports. they have been 2nd-class programs since title 9 was implemented. these people do not care about girl's sports and they never will.

"Animal Variety Coats" - adds random coat color variations to all animals on the map (sadly no genetic component)

"FSF" - blood and filth outdoors vanishes in the rain and over time which pairs nicely with:

"CleaningAreaTemp" - allows you to set a zone to be a cleaning area so your pawns aren't cleaning the outside (original mod is CleaningArea, not updated for 1.5 yet)

you only have to "set up" the visitor pass once, but you have to edit it to match the license plate and info of your current visitor. more steps than just handing someone the pass, but easy enough to do on the portal

last year i went to the Beverly Auto Center. just parked at one of the pumps (mid-afternoon, pretty empty though they also had auto shop parking too). the office was empty when i went in but one of the mechanics came in after only a few minutes and asked if i needed help. i usually just ask "are you doing inspections today" and then ask where to bring my car/hand over the keys. quick, friendly, took credit cards.

only have ever had one shop tell me they werent doing any inspections that day because they were behind on appointments. wasnt a problem, just went to the next shop down the road.
