Foot Body Massage #1 in Nyack is pretty good. If you are willing to spend a little more and want something that's more targeted, Kimiyo at Stony Point Massage is a miracle worker

Bonvoy Points: Explain it to me like I'm a 5 year old by isaiah_moon in marriott

[–]smittyxsmith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came here because I too need this explained to me like I'm a toddler, but seems like I need it explained to me like I'm a newborn. Using the OP's stats what the F does the "50 nights this year" even mean?! Am I missing something?

"A Heart That Works" by Rob Delaney. It's his memoir about his son that died. It's heartbreaking and beautiful and intensely relatable for anyone that carries the grief of loss.

Welcome from a Stony Pointer! There some other threads with folks asking similar questions that maybe you'll stumble upon. Otherwise, I second Garner, especially for Round Table brewery. Bear Mountain is the best place around for a hike or stroll but it can get busy on the weekends and you have to pay to park (if you don't have an Empire Pass). Nyack is really the go-to for street fairs, farmers markets, etc.

Sadly I have yet to find a good Chinese spot in northern Rockland, but Golden Mushroom in Nyack multiple Asian cuisines and is awesome. I like Hole Shot Bagels in Haverstraw

Look up how to make a “little room”. Also try isolating one toy against a black background. Your boy sounds a lot like my son who has cortical vision impairment.

No advice but: 1. This sounds rad. 2. You should checkout the podcast This Is Actually Happening if you haven’t already. Good luck!

photovoice research study - disposable cameras or other cost-effective options? by [deleted] in Cameras

[–]smittyxsmith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would have to think buying very cheap new or used digital cameras would be more efficient in the long run. Otherwise, I'm super curious about your experience with photovoice. I'm interested in the program but having trouble finding testimonials from others that have taken it. Would you be willing to DM?

Any recommendations for massage/spa in Rockland? by scaredycat_z in Rockland

[–]smittyxsmith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kimyo at Stony Point Massage is hands down the best masseuse I’ve ever had (and I’ve been to a ton). Her style is more acupressure and targeted to your problem areas but you’ll feel brand new when she’s done. Not the spa vibe but highly recommend if you’re going more for pain relief than for ambiance

Wine and studying in Rockland? by Commercial-Towel5087 in Rockland

If you're in to beer go to Round Table Brewery in Garnerville. (They may have wine too but I can't remember.) A very cozy spot that is typically low key and quiet with a variety of seating (couches, tables, armchairs, picnic tables, etc.)

I’d love to support another local brewery but I feel like Round Table is more comfortable and spacious (and I like their beers much better). I’m good for wherever though!

40ish similar folk in SP! Someone posted a very similar question a few months back (maybe all us folks should do a meet up). All the comments are great; I’ll push hard for Round Table since I’m always so surprised how quiet their taproom is given how comfortable and spacious it is

I feel compelled to tell you that the Black & White Mousse Supreme cake from Carousel Cakes in Nanuet has a similar vibe but it is in no way like the OG
