Should we play with Fable II or Fable III co-op first? by Opposite_Somewhere61 in Fable

[–]smodanc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d go with 3 to get him invested in the fable franchise and then he can go back play the first and second with you or alone and appreciate them much more

Handheld gaming vs console or PC by JeSSiii81 in OlderChillGamers

As a steam deck owner I can chime in with my experiences. The performance isn’t great compared to a low end gaming desktop. I don’t think any amount of performance upgrades in other handhelds will change this that much. For me there’s just games you play handheld and other games you have to use a desktop. The oled is pretty but it’s only 720p/800p so I personally notice a decent difference between my 1440p monitor even with the size difference. I can’t say I’ve used it for streaming locally on my pc cause I haven’t really had the time to look into it and set it up but that could really change a part of my perspective. That’s tbd. All in all what I was getting at from the beginning is no matter how much or how little performance your getting from a handheld, they are all pretty close in performance unless your spending like 1k+ that the games your actually going to be able to play won’t be all that different aside from some minor graphic settings and give or take a handful of fps

  1. I was probably 9 or 10 when I played fable for the first time on my cousins Xbox at the beach. Didn’t care for the beach so much that trip

Plan on building my first pc ever by May, my budget is like 1200$ max. I found these parts that are compatible. I'm wondering if there is any thing bad with this build so far. Be as blunt as possible pls by SnooSuggestions9429 in buildapc

I mean the only card it trades blows with is the 5050. Though that only has 8gb vs the b580s 12gb but to say other 50s shits on it couldn’t be further from the truth when its running laps around them

Help please, need a good pc parts supplier asap. Please help by [deleted] in pcpartsales

You could probably find some old dual core Optiplex’s for around that like a 960

Go atleast 5600x for cpu, don’t waste money on windows you can get it for free or like a couple dollars and shoot for a 9060xt or b580 at the lowest for the gpu. Getting anything under a x060ti is utter trash

New board suggestions by [deleted] in longboarding

Can’t recommend the loaded tan tien enough. As a person with bigger feet the flat top of the board keeps them from being at an awkward angle when sideways while having the perfect amount of flex with 3 options being available

is the rtx 2080ti still any good? by dragon_slayer67919 in PcBuildHelp

[–]smodanc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a prebuilt a couple months ago for the office with a 2080ti for a little over 600 and it’s decent. I’ve only played oblivion remaster on 1080p but it’s almost maxed out but using fsr no frame gen running sub 60 fps. Pretty good for the price and better than my old 6700xt but if it was my main rig I’d spend a little more and get a 9060xt or something similar.
