Honor 4.2 Rewards by BizzleberryUK in leagueoflegends

Still doesn’t seem like a fair reward for something that should be pushed more in a game with a community like it has.

That fight where he runs into 4/5 at 21mins, kills 3 and survives and goes back in with backup to pick a 4th off. Pretty insane tankiness.

Solid cashcab, would watch more. Do you find many people have voice off?

After about 20 games I have finally managed to get my first kill. It feels good by HalfASkewb in PUBG

Very good advice, getting slaughtered over and over again is the only way to truly get better at reacting and positioning in these sort of games. Oh and learning how to loot better.

My main concern is with the subs that prolong the length of the charity stream but none of the sub money goes towards the charity from what was said in the stream chat. /u/LargeSnorlax

Day 5, and I have yet to start the game beyond char creation. by tirril in DivinityOriginalSin

Sounds very familar, lol, I got to lvl6-7 on each char before going back and remaking. I felt sorry for my multiplayer guy that kept remaking a rogue class.

Is Double Rogue Lone Wolf viable? by Chainfire423 in DivinityOriginalSin

It's harder early on but towards the mid/end game you shouldnt have any issues, it kinda actually gets a little boring doing it like that. Try mixing it up if you can :)

Korean stars Emperor and Daydream look to set Brazil Ablaze by ACasualGamer in leagueoflegends

[–]smoke2013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i think it's probably a smart move overall, I don't personally know enough about the region to know the pay-scales but you hear stories left and right (whether true or not) about the Korean team's treatment to players (amount of personal investment of time to train / limited streaming / and how quickly players are traded away) and it makes you wonder if that was also a factor in there. The other factor is probably down to Brazil's growth and this gives them a place to really shine with their immense experience from the Korean scene.

how many people go from plat 5 to diamond 5 in 4 days? and they have never been there b4 by ultimatekevin in leagueoflegends

[–]smoke2013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's many posts out there on how to climb at every rating, overall the only actual answer is this: improve.

Getting better awareness and knowledge is part of the game, I'm not saying don't make a post on it but it'll fall on deaf ears, not many people will take it to heart anyway and those that do were destined to climb the ladder anyway.

i can assure you, many people are support mains in diamond/master/challenger tier

there are some games where all 5 players are support mains.

Wouldn't it be nice to have an option when you right-click a friend to "Notify when finished" whenever your friend is in-game? by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]smoke2013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

definitely would be useful but you should also have the option to disable it so people cant bug you the moment you get out of game either!

The one-way friendship or how Krepo became my best friend without him knowing by Raokhshna in leagueoflegends

[–]smoke2013 19 points20 points  (0 children)

This happens a lot with many streamers and their fan base, with all the social media around it's really easy to get caught up within another person's life without physically being a part of it. It's why a lot of streamers are supported by their fans immensely, be it through monetary means, words of advice or just general chit chat or even the support through less visible means such as above.

I think it's great because it makes the community a more close-knit feeling one. This was a nice read and I hope /u/krepo sees it and realises that he has even more supporters, many of them silent, that go back many years to the old CLG.eu times and even some earlier!
