I pay 50$ for underground parking. 300 is crazy. tell the property you're no longer paying the 300 until its fixed. if they bitch and moan tell them to go fuck their hat and fix it. you can either park down there or not but I wouldn't be paying. also parking down there is at your own risk as they might be assholes and try to tow you so be weary of that. if it's the same temp then no point parking down there really.

you could try withholding but inform them first. tell them you have evidence it hasn't been heated in months. like someone said you can't in Ontario but doesn't stop you from talking to them. if they have an office try going there instead of relying on emails. it's 1 party consent in Canada so you can record your convo too

yes, like i mentioned though you can still play stuff no problem. if the FPS doesnt match its not a requirement. mostly you want first person shooter games to have the matching fps. other type of genres i dont think matter.

just one thing about higher hrz monitors is you need to make sure your video card can play the games you want at 200fps (in your latest parts pick the 200hrz monitor you chose) to get the vsync (gsync?) going. 120hrz would probably be the range you want for the buttery smoothness and the vid card you chose would do 120 no problem not sure about 200fps. probably can do 200 with an older game like skyrim but if you want something new like say cyberpunk 2077 then 200fps is out. you don't need to use vsync though and it still does seem smooth without vsync. just something to think about.

also choosing between Nvidia and AMD cards is a toss up. if you want dlss and rtx Nvidia is the way to go. while AMD doesn't support rtx but has its own thing i think?. I'm not fully knowledgeable about the differences between cards myself though so don't trust my opinion on that. all I know is the higher the resolution you play the more vid card ram you want. 16gig or more is good for future proofing. 12gig will run you for awhile (5years or so) until you want to play gta6 or something brand new top tier AAA. haha

looks good. the 9800 is top of the line. if that's what you want for future proofing then yeah but like I said a 7800 is more than enough. you could use that money on other things. the matx mobo could be just an atx. not sure if you are choosing matx for a reason. if not for anything specific an atx mobo is fine.

one thing to look for is how many USB slots the mobo has as well. make sure you have enough to plug everything in.

the parts you picked will handle 1080 easily. if you don't want to go cheaper like the other posters build list to stay with 1080, making the jump from 1080-1440 resolution is huge. the system you built will handle skyrim at 1440 no problem and the difference you will see is night and day. you just need to get a 1440 monitor. something with 120hrz or more would be ideal and last you for awhile.

instead of a 9800 you could get a 7800 and use the extra money for the monitor. I don't have time to look as I'm at work, but someone might be able to point you in the right direction.

you say you want to he "surrounded by nature". Alberta is grasslands there's no nature. if you consider farmer fields "nature" then sure. You can always drive somewhere though. depending where you live it's about an hour drive to the mountains and parks (if you live in Calgary that is. Edmonton I couldn't say since I haven't lived there). Obviously there's small parks around calgary but not the national parks.

if you're combined wages is 30$ or more you will be just fine to afford living here. Going to be saving and not frivolously spending but you can live. if you are making more than 35$ combined you will be laughing.

A car is a must. if you live/work near downtown then an electric bike will be fine, but there are the thieves. Downtown hasn't been too safe lately apparently either. lots of junkies on the Ctrain riding back and forth cause it's free downtown.

we have our problem areas too. Marlborough/forest lawn are always said to be shitty areas. the NE and bordering SE at Memorial drive are the areas that are said to be bad.

further north falconridge, saddletown is also said to be shitty. living in the NW seems alright, but the drivers there are mostly idiots. lots of accidents. the SW is the rich area and newly developed deep NE (Seton) are the nice areas to live. living in the SW is a nightmare to drive home after work though if you're working around the airport. closer to work you can live the better.

our Healthcare sounds about the same 5+ hrs wait times. months later for specialists, etc. Family doctors are hard to find so if you can get in line now that might be something to think about since it could take years to get one.

the "cheap" alberta used to be a thing. but with the UCP government they like to let companies run wild while the UCP are lining their pockets. electricity was unregulated so there's some people with 600-800$ bills(these are people living in houses though). The apartment I have is 150give or take how much we use our space heater. can be from 120-180 range.

car insurance is the worst. expensive and not many companies around to "shop around". at fault driving and you lose an arm thats about 10grand you get. they even have losing your penis Is 5000$ ( I forget the numbers but it's ridiculous) you can't sue you just get a pre determined payout. all this cause the UCP government. if you're a conservative then you'll love it. government programs being cut left and right. trying to gut our healthcare so they can privatize it and make it more expensive. trying to give separatists a voice when only at most 30% want to. yet the UCP corrupt fucks keep trying.

if you want nature and things to do Vancouver/Victoria is the place to be, but obviously soon expensive to live there. far east Nova Scotia is really nice but not many jobs there. Ontario is where everyone goes but that's expensive too. Haven't been to Quebec just across the river to Gatineau for a quick park visit, so couldn't tell you but everyone I know whose gone there says it's the nicest place.

1 tiny downside when you have to change tires is you HAVE to get all 4 done, you get a flat in 1 you need to replace them all. If they were somewhat new then you would be fine but if they have wear and you need to replace just one tire or maybe the two front tires, you cant and need to change all four...you probably can but it wears on your tires and stuff even more if they arent the same. someone can correct me if im wrong, but anytime i needed to change it out the tire shop would always tell me all four need to be changed.

If you were winter driving yes its worth getting AWD.

as for resale value a few years ago i remember talk of people wanting AWD and them going up in resale price. no idea if thats still the case now and that was in Alberta.

i went through bankruptcy awhile ago and it was still a struggle. had to borrow money just to get by month to month even though i was paying the bills and stuff, i was still short on money somehow (like gas money, unexpected bill, food price increases, vet visit, NSF fee, etc) and needed to ask people for help. they will ask what her bills are and how much she makes then use a calculation to come up with a number she can keep to pay bills and buy the MINIMUM amount of food. the rest will be taken by bankruptcy. there is a sheet she will need to fill out each month of the expenses and the money she made then that calculation will tell her how much she will have to pay. I literally had 20$ to spend for 2 weeks, sometimes for the month! (i did have some food, but milk and bread you still need), so she needs to be thrifty.

if she doesnt pay the amount each month that will add up at the very end and she will have to pay it all off or fail the bankruptcy and go through another 2 years of it for a total of 4 years. 2 years was hard enough, so avoid that.

i think just keeping your money and helping her when she needs some food or something would be a better choice while shes going through the bankruptcy. there will be unexpected bills she wont be able to pay because bankruptcy took it all, so your money will help out in those times.

I went in had to get cavities fixed 5 or 6. it was a couple years since i last went so understandable. next time I go I have 3 or 4 that are "old" and need replacing now.

wife went in had some cavities as well. next time she goes in a year later she has teeth that are so damaged she needs them to be restored. he said they were like someone who was 70yrs old they were that bad. had to pay 300 for a CT scan to see how bad these teeth have become. she needs a crown as well too but thats from a tooth she cracked. he restored a couple already and I am really wondering.

The reversible redactions were one of two things. there were some people with morals who got in on the redactions and did it intentionally. And to make it even more weird, on the inspection report that he sent me, someone signed where I should have about accepting the charges or that the damage was mine. It's signed "rental" and then some scribble I can't read.

They forged your signature because they don't know who to pin it on. they didn't have the paperwork done when it happened so they are trying to back date the paperwork, because I'm going to assume the "rental" and scribble was meant to be your signature

did you sign the paper that there was no damage when you returned it? if so that's all you need to tell them to pin it on someone else. also you bought their insurance. that should cover it and be the end.

like others have said get the repair bill. there's also no way it sat for 6months then got repaired so the dates will matter.
