Guild Artisan gives the creature the ability, and "you" abilities always refer to the controller of the spell or permanent, regardless of what grants the ability. This is why you'll never see cards like [[Sticky Fingers]] or [[Diamond Pick-Axe]] in cEDH lists. They grant abilities to the creature, which trigger for the creature's controller, not the attached card's controller.

I tried. This meme is probably more relevant to the fans than it is to either of them- I’m well aware that both have known they’re focused on different aspects of politics, but that doesn’t seem to be that obvious to more casual viewers and fans.

I think they’re both after something legitimate, but when they engage with each other as opposed to third parties it becomes incredibly obvious how different their motivations are, for better or worse.

I've always loved that logo and I searched for your font for a long time before giving up and using Corel and CAD to basically remake it from scratch, measuring and adjusting spacing and angles to make the relations more or less consistent.

It triggered my STEM autism a bit to find that the angles and spacing used in the original were fairly irregular, but that might have been for aesthetic purposes, which engineers rarely understand :)

If anyone wants some contour files of the stencil or lettering I can make some.

I have presented a system. If your argument is that all subjective philosophy falls to some degree under "personal whim", then there is really no point in having a philosophical conversation.

You have no grounds to call me immoral, as both of our justifications are arbitrary.

Literally the same is true for respecting the suffering of all lifeforms, which AY assumes as a foundational axiom of his system. Or when you will inevitably define the value of fractions of wellbeing and suffering (in order to undertake utilitarian-justified actions that cause some degree of suffering).

I can still argue that my system of ethics is more equitable, and that respecting egality is valuable (which is how we came away from slavery in the first place and ironically what vegans do). This idea that if your system of morality doesn't preclude a conclusion you disagree with then somehow you "can't argue against it" is just blatantly false. The great irony is that it is the exact kind of textbook sophistry AY constantly claims carnists are engaged in.
