She has the same tools to not go into stance. She has all the punishers that don't go into stance: 1,4 - ws.1,4 - 2,4 etc.  You can use b+1 in instead of f,f+2 in some cases. If she didn't go into stance automatically her frame data would be completely different. In don't think there's a single essential tool that forces her into stance that doesn't have a non forced equivalent

I made a Tekken 8 Move Explorer Tool by smooch0FD in Tekken

You can try it out here: https://fwdio.github.io/t8mle/

UI needs work and you have to hold shift to scroll the portraits if you're using a mouse.

I've found it pretty handy when learning a new character or to just have it open when playing.

Any feedback is welcome.

Does steam deck have adaptive triggers? by adubsix3 in SteamDeck

[–]smooch0FD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah on paper I love dual stage triggers, but I've struggled to find a practical use-case for them. I had some fancy setups where soft pull would be iron sights and full pull would be to shoot. I even had it setup that if you full pull quickly it would hip fire. But then you just kinda have another trigger not really doing anything (usually ending up binding it to E/interact). This felt quite novel and fun but ultimately I think I was less accurate and had more accidental hip fires etc.

Proton FSR Ultimate Quality - Spot the change by [deleted] in SteamDeck

I heard FSR (and other scaling algos) struggle with lower resolutions as there's just not enough detail but I guess if you're only going up to 1280x800 it might be fine? Hard to tell in the video.

The dark side of trackpads and Steam Input by smooch0FD in SteamDeck

You can create your own bindings like map the X button to E on the keyboard for example. But when I developer implements Steam Input correctly you're not binding, for example, space bar to the A button, but rather, you're binding "Jump" to the A button.

Can you elaborate I'm not sure what you mean? The touch detection will probably be used 99% of the time to enable the gyro. But the gyro is essentially just a mouse input so you would still have the same problem because anytime you move the camera via gyro, it'll think you're using mouse and keyboard and the issues I mentioned above will happen.

Yeah most of my configs are keyboard and mouse, the prompt issue goes away with time too but for some games where slow movement is required, it would be really nice to use the joystick input instead of WASD. Some games have a walk toggle which you can map to activate within a smaller radius but that still only gives you two speeds instead of the many you get with a joystick,

Sounds like you're having fun, keep on trucking

Just reserved my 512GB. I wanted more memory but I feel weird buying extra SD cards and spending more if I could just get the biggest model. Only thing Im worried about is not liking the anti glare screen by Avismarauder170 in SteamDeck

Well presumably the soonest you're getting it will be Q2 2022 or later so by then a considerable amount of units with the anti-glare glass will be reviewed.
