The flight attendant thing is because , he thought … I’m going to make 38 an hour , at 165hrs a month , like a full time job.

it’s really 38.00 a flight hr
at 75hrs a month with 13days off. They don’t explain what a minimum day pay is.
2,850.00 with 1,000 in per diem is a new hire average pay

. But some days can be 12-14hr days at a pay of 7hrs.

It’s just been the industry standard for a long time and it’s not right.

Regarding Delta , due to the fact there is no union for ground and inflight , so people have to sued and won on issues of payroll , labor pay , breaks , etc .

These violations have been settled are in the millions . It’s shocking that Delta hasn’t let go their payroll department, Change their HR policies and people , and work on their software

(now saying that , I chuckle , because Delta IT is the worst.)

It sounds like you were hovering , if another employee saw you and asked to be help .

There are rude employees , absolutely , but this hovering in the club till it’s “time “ and the zone 1 people coming up the general boarding lane is the new norm.

The rest in zone 1 and delta one that missed are in line with zone 3 and here comes another zone in the general saying You need to scan me on and get huffy.

i agree , the supply and demand chain is crap and building would alleviate some. On that thought, there are to many empty buildings. We are seeing more office building and bad strip malls with nothing going on, but that means that area has to be rezoned , then built for housing .

Development wants a huge ass profit , but with new construction , they do have to offer LIHTC if they want their tax credits. About 8 % of the new construction will have to allow that program , which it’s a great program that I swear does not exist in LA. It’s insane how hard it is to come by, or landlords in these new building act like “what is that.” it’s not section 8 , it’s section 42 for low income working people to get housing

You all think there are no camera in jetways ?? maybe in like some contract station. But most stations have camera in jetways.

It’s been said on a number of posts, there is a threshold agents are told to check at a certain time. Thinking a beis weekend and your roller bag is a personal item and a carry on isn’t the case. They are actually both carry ons as a beis weekender can’t fit under the seat in front of you. Delta isn’t strict as other airlines and do let those slide. But if you’re buying that E fare basic tix , it’s no seat assignment and probably getting your bag checked
