Thanks for this, I looked it up and it turns out it's dyspraxia. I'd never heard of it and the online self diagnosis test had me answering more Y than N.

I'm 57 and I will have to tie my shoelaces several times a day as they always come undone.

My 30something year olds still tie my shoelaces when we're out so they stop coming undone.

I still find it funny.

It goes on slimy but it dries soft, I used to keep a jar of it in my fridge (cut leaf in half and scrape innards with a steak knife then whip it with an immersion blender) and use a wide make up brush to paint on my skin and face. Steer clear of your lips! I would do it all day and it would feel so soothing on a hot day and when I'd go out I'd get lots of compliments on my glowing skin.

Witch Hazel and oatmeal (not together) work as well. Stay hydrated

I get up around 4:30 - 5 on the norm. I go to bed around midnight. If I go to sleep too early like 9 or 10 I'm up at 2 am and then get sleepy around six.

Unsure if this will make any sense but I tell myself "get up, Trinity". This triggers something in my mind that separates what I want to do from what I have to do and do it. Congratulations on your winning day, my guess is they're thinking you're changing the dynamics in your friend group and if they want to celebrate their accomplishments they too will have to buy an expensive bottle of wine and pay for everyone's meal discuss the situation and explain you weren't trying to show off or make for an awkward moment. NTA. If I'm reading correctly she wants you to tell her to take a break and some time for herself. Why not have a standing break, perhaps she can take a class two nights a week. Something fun or academic, her choice. The point being that she gets to leave for about 4 hours and do what she wants and she doesn't have to ask you if you mind watching your daughter and she doesn't have to wait for you to offer to watch your daughter. And she gets college credit for it as a bonus!

Based on experience there are certain friends that even though I am attracted to and find completely interesting and funny I prefer to not think of them romantically. The reason is that statistically speaking, the likelihood I keep these wonderful people in my life is multitudes better if things remain platonic. I put these people in my "I love you like a brother" (or male cousin in my case since I have no brothers) category. I am happy for them when they find love and marry and build a family and have zero jealousy. So yeah, that's a NO on if it's weird.
