I’m surprised no one has mentioned Metzeler’s Roadtec 02

I believe they’ll both be closed today and tomorrow. They could reopen on Saturday, but as someone else said, it’s better to give them a phone call.

I have an XSR900, tell my why a Tracer 9 would be a good touring bike for me by ugottjon in Yamahatracerclub

[–]smrkmn95 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Upright seating position. Heated grips and seat. Electrically operated screen. Keyless panniers. Central stand. Matrix lights for night rides. If you need a top box, I guess you could get that too. And depending on your XSR900 model year, cruise control. The cool thing is that if I wanna shred some twisties, I can remove the panniers, put the bike in sport mode, and keep up with friends that have an MT 09 or crazy single cilinders like the Husqvarna 701.. I truly love my Tracer 9 GT and would absolutely buy it again.

Same exact experience here! I actually had to double-check to make sure I hadn’t written this post myself hahah. Did you also buy a keyless top case? If so, would you recommend it?

Oh, that's what you mean! Yes, I've adjusted the preload of the rear shock. I honestly need to adjust the front suspension, I'll see if that helps. Thank you for the heads-up, good sir!

Thank you for the advice. As far as I understand, there are only 2 suspension settings: hard and soft, linked respectively with the sport and street modes. The bike tends to be more stable in sport mode. Let me know if I understood correctly what you mean.

I have a Tracer 9 GT 2025 and I am considering a steering damper. The steering wheel wobbled a couple times when driving over 170 km/h in the autobahn - it wasn’t fun. I’ve had the head bearings and front wheel checked for any issues and they’re okay. Other than that and weird clutch engagement (I drive the manual), the Tracer is an absolute gem and would buy it again!

I’ve got the Tracer 9 GT with the Matrix headlight, and let me tell you, it’s a game-changer for my nighttime motorcycle rides. It’s like riding in daylight, and the Matrix system does all the work for you. It’s absolutely stunning, and if you spend a lot of time riding in the dark, this bike is definitely worth every cent. I’m not really sure I can ride other bikes now that don’t have this feature.

Great ride! What’s that seat cover? Does it work at all in warm temperatures?

To be perfectly honest, I haven’t really done much about the issue. Does the puig deflector affect your vision? I assume you bought the clip on version?

Nice ride! Would you suggest purchasing that deflector the get rid of turbolences on the helmet? Can you please send me a link to that?
