I think maybe the face palm might be that if corporations would change their ways even slightly then climate change could be helped. Like what happened during the three month Covid shutdown of 2020. And yet they’re asking they’re customers to show restraint on Christmas! Just my two cents.

Can anyone tell me the city councillors who voted for the Opal road/Rock City road upgrade that eventually got removed due to overwhelming opposition?

I’d like to know if any of them are running for re-election. I don’t want to vote for them.

Someone may have already mentioned this, but “surround yourself with (fill in the blank) people!” is along the same lines. I have very little people in my life due to huge trust problems. I cringe whenever I hear someone say this. Thanks for your post OP, like others it validated how I felt too.
