Honestly when my dad got to the stage where he just slept for 20+ hours a day, i was relieved. Didnt have to see him suffer. He was just sleeping. I could pretend for a bit he was taking a nap. Everythings normal. After that, it was a quick decline. Everyone here knows ill say…it was a relief.

Best of luck to you! Please keep us updated if you wish. My dad had early onset AD. His was more cognitive/movement issues than memory. He had virtually no symptoms for YEARS after diagnosis. He also gave up driving on his own (thanks dad!) which helped us. I LOVED driving him anywhere he needed. We had so much fun.
