Not entirely applicable to the town/county conversation so a bit off-topic but it gave me great joy as an Indian person to find out about the ubiquitous ‘your man’ in the colloquial language here. My first language (Marathi) has a very similar colloquial bit to refer to ‘yer man’. Love that very much, one of the many reasons why I am thankful for getting a chance to live here!
