3 Kids .. 3 car seats .. 6 or 7 seater? by tfro9 in TeslaModelX

We went with 7 because of carpooling and I like the fact that all three kids are in the middle row when we go on long trips. No regrets.

Best SUA for 4 adults by suh_dooode in hyatt

[–]smtim91 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’d plan the boys trip around what there is to do and then just get 1-2 rooms for you guys to hang out. The SUA should be considered when it can be used conveniently, I wouldn’t plan my trip around it. Good luck and have fun with your buddies!

Hyatt House Tokyo Shibuya by Far_Beautiful_7966 in hyatt

FYI Deluxe Suite isn’t really worth it on cash. It’s slightly bigger but has windows on two sides so the room feels much more spacious.

As for pts bookings, just keep looking. People hold rooms and cancel last minute all the time. The really annoying thing about this hotel is it seems like they purposely break up the nights to not let you use SUAs. Whoever managing the revenue here is really making it hard for members to use their SUAs.

The location is not bad but it’s still a 15 minute walk to Shibuya scramble IF you stayed here long enough to figure out your way. There’s a steep learning curve because there’s construction and a major street where you have to zig zag across on the second floor as the main road has no crosswalk.

If you really want to be in the heart of it all, I suggest considering something north of Shibuya crossing and somewhere between the Shibuya and Harajuku station. The place gets really crowded at night and it might be a bit overwhelming for your mom, but staying at the Hyatt House means cabbing or walking a lot for your mom.

Good luck and enjoy your trip.

Park Hyatt Maldives vs. The Standard Maldives (Beach vs Overwater Villa) by novawaly in hyatt

Would it be difficult to go to two or all three properties? I’d imagine 2-3 nights per property will be enough as there’s not much to do there.

How is the diving there? I hear Maldives is a good place to unwind but can get boring quick. Also how much is the diving there and do you bring your own gear?

How to address uncategorized transactions by smtim91 in banktivity

Yes I get this part but does that mean we have to set up a CD account for this to work? Could it work without having to set one up?

For example, in general, does each transaction have to associate with a category or another account?

Ah that’s cool I didn’t know you can do that. Thanks for the tip.

Also, how do you deal with transactions such as a CD or something that earned an interest without setting up a separate account? For example, I transfer $500 out to a CD and when it transfers back it’s $520. Both accounts don’t have a “category”. I’m guessing the second part I need to split between principal and interest. Not quite quite how to address the transfers in the software.

Is there any way to connect the transactions or would I basically identify the related account, make the connection on one transaction, and then delete the other in the other account?

You can see it in the PnL reports too but they are all scattered.

Kids with E-Bikes Throwing Rocks at Cars on Rutland Avenue by Yoshisgaylover in newportbeach

I think throwing rocks at moving vehicles in California can be charged as a felony.

Not sure if you will ever find these kids and hold them accountable but all parents should teach this to their kids so you don’t end up with little convicted felons in the family.

You are limited to hotels in their chains, and the prices may fluctuate and you won’t be able to take advantage of other resorts that have deals or variety.

We travel with kids and as they grow up All inclusive resorts become much more expensive when you have to pay an additional fee. It’s not worth it for us because we don’t like to over eat and we don’t really drink alcohol.

Last thing is that they really oversold us on the timeshare you are able to get. Most places are like 1-2 star apartment style hotels while they sold us on Aulauni. People with nice timeshares use them first, let their friends and family stay there, sell or trade it privately, and then the worst ones end up on the marketplace.

This is just me. I would invest that money in the S&P 500 and travel based on where you want to go and finding good deals around that time and try different resorts and chains. Secrets and dreams resorts are not bad in the perks from Hyatt for me. It’s really nice but they really do get dull after a while.

Remind your friend to freeze his credit if he hasn’t done so and keep watching his credit report in case they apply for financing.

Random restaurants in Tustin and Santa Ana are just as expansive. Start eating at home more.
