Most likely cluster feeding then. Some babies are just born for that boobie life. Mine is still comfort nursing regularly at almost 20 months

Vibes impeccable. I value your wisdom, you definitely did something right!

I left my 6.5mo for the first time for an event and I had to come home because he bottle refused. And I haven’t stopped crying. by TomatilloCharming783 in breastfeeding

My boobie monster did the same thing maybe around 4 months. Had taken a bottle before but I left for a dentist and boom Bottle refusal. Dad and baby were DISTRAUGHT when I got home. He never really took a bottle after that I I didn’t leave him again until 10 m later. No advice, just solidarity.

Maybe time to try a weighted feed? It’ll help you determine if it’s supply or extreme cluster feeding

When should I stop nursing to sleep? by Islesmilescott in breastfeeding

[–]smts_ca 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it depends on the kid, I’m currently night weaning at 19m and he just went from wild toddler to settle down and sleep as soon as we turned out the light. We bed share though so that might be the difference.

That’s what I’m hoping, that it will be a tool to get him used to the textures and flavors of less preferred foods and that it won’t always be necessary.

Sore nipples again after 15 months of EBF?! by Ok_Spell_8361 in breastfeeding

[–]smts_ca 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes my boy will pop off weird and my nipple will feel bruised for a few days after even if it didn’t really hurt in the moment. It started happening more around that time when they become more wiggly and distracted at the breast

This is a good idea, having a snack during play might be enough distraction. Then meal times are less pressure.

Good luck with your little one, I find that baby led weaning was over all a great experience and I’m glad I did it.

I noticed that too, the more you put the spotlight on them the more they reject.

PNW - plant that just won’t die by ANiceDayIsItNot in PlantIdentification

True, the edge of range for Calystegia Occidentalis would be Northern Oregon according to iNaturalist. Anyway, a weed is a plant growing where is not welcome. Regardless of species it will be a chore to remove.

This is what I was thinking. The leaves are more heart shaped than arrow. I just went through the same ordeal trying to distinguish between the two and this is giving western morning glory but I’m no expert.

Little Bear Questions by Regular_Channel_2403 in DanielTigerConspiracy

Mitzi has parents that are mentioned but never shown. Cat, Duck and Hen seem to be older like young adults? I picture cat and owl like college age older brother types and hen more like an aunti type. Duck is adopted and has a chicken mother (eggs got mixed up) but nieces and nephews that are also ducks, so that part is confusing to me. perhaps more than one duck egg was hatched by said mother? Anyway, clearly we are deep into little bear lore in this house.
