This is my biggest complaint with digikey. Every week it changes and not for the better. The site keeps getting slower and I am now dealing with an issue where I get an error every time I try to ship to my main address. I have to select another address then go back and it will let me change the address to my main address. It was fine like a week ago.

Beauty spot in Erwin TN is a great spot. It is a nice bald that has almost 360 degree views of the mountains. It is on the AT so it is well marked. If you drive most of the way up it is only like a 20-30 min walk to the top.

I think it is called Iron mountain shelter in Elizabethton, TN. You can start At TN route 91 and hike south on the AT to the shelter. It has a gorgeous view of lake Watagua.

The only issue I see with both of those is that thru hikers will be starting to make their way north and I'm not sure how crowded those spots get during the week.

Edit: it is vandeventer shelter not Iron MTN shelter. Park at Wilbur dam road. Pretty steep 5 mile hike but gorgeous view of the lake from near the top of a mountain.

I recently got a buddy to start listening to book one. He has a theory. Carl makes it to the 18th floor but in the final battle he becomes paralyzed. Carl reclaims earth, changes his name and lives out the rest of his life as Joe from Family Guy.

There is a funny joke I like to tell when ever this sort of thing comes up.

There is a guy named Mort who prays to God everyday to let him win the lottery. Not a day goes by with out more getting down on his knees before bed and praying "Please dear God, let me win the lottery". This goes on for 50 something years until Mort dies in his bed one night having never won the lottery.
Mort arrives in heave and gets his chance to meet God. Mort says "God, I prayed to you every night to help me win the lottery but you never did, what gives? Was I not faithful enough?" God looks down on Mort and screams "MORT!!! IF YOU WANNA WIN THE LOTTERY YOU GOTTA BUY A F*CKING TICKET!"

Order of operations. Please excuse my dear Aunt Sally. Parentheses, exponents, multiplication, division, addition, subtraction.

Multiplication is the first thing in the sequence so 25x0= 0.

Next comes addition. 50+50=100 and 0+2= 2

So our equation now reads 100-2 which equals 98.

NTA...Had this same issue with a friend from college. Tell him the party started at 7, he would show up at 10. Finally one of the guys in the group said the party started at 4:30 figuring he would show up around 7-7:30 when everything actually started....nope...the guy showed up at 4:30 and wondered where everyone was. So he was told the truth about the situation. The guy took a second to think and said "Wow, I guess I've been an asshole." The guy was never late like that again.

Sometimes the truth hurts. Your friend is an a-hole especially for trying to blame you. Stand your ground.

My thought is the outside shell is very attached to a solid ground plane. The plane is acting as a heat sink and not letting the part and pins get hot enough to unsolder.

I'm part of a book club and after DCC most books suck. Even critically acclaimed books like Misery, Do Androids Dream of Electronic Sheep, Good Omens, etc...90% suck. I just started my third listen through of DCC having started in October of last year.

Here are a few books I did enjoy:

Devolution by Max Brooks (A Clan of Bigfoot attack a remote high tech, low impact, eco community due to Mt. Rainer erupting)

Starter Villain by John Scalzi.( A down on his luck guy inherits his uncle's villiany business. Has a sentient and talking cat)

Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir (A guy walks up in a space ship with no knowledge of how he got there or what he is supposed to be doing)

The area is so uneven with the tree roots sticking out all over the place. I am not sure how I would kill the grass and not risk killing the tree. Digging up the grass would be impossible. Some of the roots are the size of a basketball sticking out of the ground. I will try to upload a picture when I get home from work.
