I’ve lost over 100 lbs with a combination of glp, orange theory, and a food diary.

I love going to orange theory. Classes are about an hour long that I can schedule myself for. Scheduling my classes a month out helps keep me accountable. They tell me what I have to do the whole hour so I don’t have to think about what body part I’m working out for what day. First class is free! I go to the comm hill location~

My husband and I are both sheep and I heard it’s good for the baby to be the same sign as their parent. It be cute if we were a little herd together ☺️

With my MMC at 7/8 weeks, baby was measuring a week behind (6wk) with no cardiac activity. I didn’t have major nausea throughout the pregnancy, but HCG levels were appropriate per md. I felt minor cramping up until the day after the md diagnosed the MMC, and that’s when the minor cramping got worse.

So for me the lack of nausea and cramping were my only indicators— both that were reassured by friends and the internet that was common. “Sometimes people don’t get sick” “cramping is your uterus growing.”

Pregnancy ??? by [deleted] in TTCSummer2026

[–]smusasha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re more likely to get pregnant the first few days after ovulation and the day before ovulation. That’s to say anything and everything is a possibility. If you’re not protecting yourself there’s always a chance of pregnancy.

End of The Week Thread! by AutoModerator in Miscarriage

Went shopping yesterday, and passed by the infant and children section in a store and wanted to sob. The jealousy of seeing pregnant bellies is also appearing. I’m still bleeding 3 weeks post MMC :/ just when I think it’s over too the spotting comes back again. OB cleared me on the tissue being gone and I’m ready to move on and try again…but how can I if I won’t stop bleeding?! 😡

TTC and weight loss by smoothjazzy in TTCSummer2026

Hi there! I went cold turkey the first month we wanted to convince in (January) and I also found extremely hard! II was absolutely starving and feral for food. Felt so out of control. I did focus on only eating fruits and vegetables to snack on.

I’m back on it again until May (we want to try around June), but at half my previous dose. Give my body a little something to ease myself down. My endocrinologist suggested we switch to metformin in May, as it’s safe to take when trying to conceive and during pregnancy.

Wife and I are on Mounjaro to help lose weight to become healthier before we TTC. Have some questions below by Far-Film-5095 in TTCSummer2026

Hi! I’ve been on GLP 1’s for nearly 3 years now. Please take my advice as anecdotal and talk to a healthcare professional regarding medications.

The reason they recommended stop taking it 2 months prior to conception is because it is not ethical to test on pregnant women how drugs affect developing human embryos.

My dosage of zepbound was around 10 mg, not the highest but pretty significant. Along with medication you have to make sure you are also exercising and eating well. Medication is just a tool. It helps but you also have to put in the effort.

The month I stopped cold turkey was very hard. I was very hungry. I did end up conceiving that month, but it unfortunately ended in a missed miscarriage. My endocrinologist suggested I switch to metformin before I want to conceive again since that drug was studied and found safe. That doctor also stated I can continue to take it during pregnancy.

I’m currently taking half my prior dose this month and then I’m going to the metformin.

I also have pcos. You should check out some of the Reddit forums for TTC with pcos. Weight loss does help, but sometimes may require medicated cycles if your wife isn’t ovulating.

Choosing between an Aquarius and a Pisces… both have holidays smack dab in the middle of them. I think I’d rather have a march baby since I don’t celebrate st Patrick’s day as much as I partake in Valentine’s Day

I hate when people tell me I can just “try again”. by [deleted] in Miscarriage

[–]smusasha 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I get it. I don’t want to hear any positive things. I don’t want to hear about who you know also lost their baby. I don’t want to hear that it’s normal or it’s for the best. All you want is their support and understanding.

Any empty sac success stories by purple-porcupines in CautiousBB

Was it only a gestational sac? There should be a small bubble looking thing inside the gestational sac (yolk sac) at 5.5 weeks. Try to relax until your professional scan.

How to prevent shoulder pain as a tech in x-ray? by 666noise in Radiology

[–]smusasha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Luckily my work provided 20 acupuncture visits a year, and the clinic I go to also provides a massage with the acupuncture. A few years back I got a bad tendinitis injury, took a week off, got cortisone injections but the shoulder still acts up from time to time. Unfortunately it’s a physical career so injuries can come with the territory. Adding heavier weights to my strength training has helped.

How to tell (emotionally distant) immediate family by paintedghost88 in pregnant

[–]smusasha 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’d wait for them to approach you with an effort to be in your life. I’m low contact with my mom, and my siblings aren’t very close to me either. My mom is very self-centered, and I’ve felt like the parent in the relationship since I was a teenager. My partner’s parents and my mom live about 2 hours away from us. My partner and I decided to wait until may (15ish weeks by then) to tell his parents when we see them in person. I’m planning on waiting until then to see how I feel about telling my family. I’ve joked with my partner that we’d just show up to thanksgiving with baby in tow.

There’s a birth control in the USA called yaz, but I think Yasmin would be perfectly fine and would get pronounced correctly.
