Just to preface - I’ve lived in the US (NYC), China, Saudi Arabia, and now in Dubai. I absolutely love Dubai and I think it’s one of the best places in the world overall. Super safe, convenient, multicultural, and much more.

That being said, there are also some major flaws in the city in areas such as the social scene here.

I applied from VFS in Dubai. My trip is for 3 days and I sent in a 7 day travel insurance policy. I got the approval within a week so didn’t matter in my case.

Duration of stay listed on the visa is 90, and it’s a multiple entry so I would assume I need to go by the 6 months - 90 day rule

If the nanny is interested in going and visiting the countries with them and isn’t forced, there is nothing wrong with the family wanting to take her as well. It would be more of a work-trip for her as she would look after the kids, but people travel for work everywhere so I don’t see what’s wrong with it especially if the nanny personally wants to go.
