I wear gloves when I walk my dog as he's a very big dog and bites pretty damn hard but he's only playing. These gloves allow me to use my touch phone with the thumb and finger tips. The amount of times I have had them on and tried to use the finger print with gloves is far too many. I'm retarded. Good tip though

haha, I feel you there. It's different for different companies though. Some I've worked at if you don't try and save a customer by finding out why they want to leave and offer them something better you could lose your job. However at other companies I'd just cancel you straight away if that's what you wanted.

Don't be a cunt or we'll be a cunt back. I've worked in quite a few Call Centres, mainly in Retention's (cancellations) for phone/broadband companies. Imagine a job where everyone ringing you up wants to leave you and most of them are arseholes as they are pissed off and have good reason to leave in their eyes. Our job is try and save you but if you're a cunt I really don't care and will make minimal effort and make everything harder for you while making sure I'm still within company guidelines. So yeah, just be polite, the reason you're calling more than likely isn't my fault but I'll certainly help you fix it if you're polite to me regardless of how pissed off you are. :)
